So far, so good. I bought a fridge/freezer from Appliance World Online for a rental property I own & every aspect of the transaction was great from start to finish, from identifying which model to choose, to the price, to delivery - the latter being only 24 hours later! They even offer a very reasonable service to unpack & install domestic appliances which was perfect for my tenant. Thanks!

"Apparent 'glitchy' website and UNBELIEVABLY RUDE customer service!"

I ordered a cooker from Appliance World Online for my elderly mother because they advertised next day delivery. That was the only reason I chose them. Not long after, they called my brother to say there was a “glitch” on the website and no one was actually available to install it the next day. So, they offered the 14th of April instead. We agreed—things happen.

The 14th came… and went. Despite giving us a delivery slot, they called again, last minute, to say there was an “emergency elsewhere” and they'd now come the following morning. Not ideal, but we tried to be patient.

I called in the morning to ask for a clear delivery time. The man who answered the phone was shockingly rude, he had no business being that hostile at 9am—he continuously spoke over me, shut me down, and made no effort to apologise. Instead, he kept repeating “they're on their way right nowww” to get me to stop talking. Absolutely zero acknoledgment of the delay or the inconvenience caused to my mother. He was defensive, dismissive, and treated me as though I was being unreasonable for even calling. Extremely childish behaviour from a so called professional company. All he had to do was apologise and tell me when they'd be there, instead he chose to bicker like that was his job!

There was no accountability, no empathy—just immense attitude. For a company dealing with people’s homes and basic appliances, that kind of customer service is deeply unprofessional.

In the end, what was meant to be a simple next day delivery turned into a five-day wait, and an infuriating phone call to top it all off.

Never again will I put myself or my mother through such stress and I'll scream it from the roof tops for everyone else to AVOID AVOID AVOID.
