I bought a sal sac car through my company who use Lloyd Latchford as the insurer and Lex Autolease as finance partner (who are the worst company ever). Today I was pulled over by the police who said I was driving without insurance and they would seize the car, 6 points and a £300 fine! I explained the insurance was part of the package, I called Lex who said it was nothing to do with them. I then spoke to the insurance company who said Lex had asked them to cancel my insurance in Jan! This means I have been driving illegally for 10 months! I spoke to Lex and they said it was an admin error. The saving grace was Becky from the sal sac team and Emma from the insurance company who sorted it quickly between them. We were also very fortunate to have an understanding policeman who realised it was not our fault and let us off.
Great customer experience in a really stressful situation, thank you Emma :)
