The goods sent( from Holland?) let the team down unfortunately but we got there( by third cabin delivery) in the end.

"Rotten wood after only 4 years"

Initially pleased with our Nottingham log cabin, we are left now after 4 years with a cabin that has rotten corners. When we first purchased the cabin we did all our research reading all the hints and tips on the website about protecting our cabin once built and when I built it the first thing I did was give it several coats of paint to protect it going forward. Every summer since has seen a fresh coat of paint to further protect the cabin, however this summer we noticed orange mushrooms or fungi starting to grow out of the gaps inside and outside in the corners where the logs slotted together. After scraping these off I noticed the wood in the corners were going soft and after some investigation I found that in some places the wood had rotted right through. I went to get some wood hardener to try to repair the rotten bits and after trying to get back to solid wood, found that the rot in the corners is extensive and any repair I attempt now will only be cosmetic as if I take out all of the rotten wood, I’ll be left with no corners at all. I am absolutely appalled that this cabin, after only 4 years would be in the state that this one is in. The walls are made from the thicker logs as well so would expect a greater lifespan than 4 years.

Ordered two sheds, quality of the wood is first class when built both look excellent Doors are sturdy and door furnishings are good as are the hinges
You need to buy a floor if you are ordering
Instructions are poor took sometime to understand everything it was a bit like a jigsaw but when finished very satisfying

I have found Tuin to be very helpful everytime I have used them. I needed a replacement handle for my workshop, which I also purchased from Tuin. They were very quick with there response and my new handle arrived with in a few days.
Would definitely recommend.

"Poor quality, worse service!"

Cabin delivered in March 24 (delivery delayed with less than a week’s notice). Missing parts, broken parts (some damage clearly pre shipping as had been subject to shoddy repairs - e.g broken wood stapled back together). Still waiting for doors to be delivered (they were the wrong size, completely different to size in the instructions). Just been told it will be end of July (called after no response to emails for past week) - how can it take over 8 weeks to replace a standard door set?. Summer will likely be long gone if/when this ever gets finished. Lots of blaming hauliers and suppliers (who are Tuin Holland). Quality of parts simply not that good (windows etc pretty rough). Service is very poor - once you have paid you are at the mercy of Tuin and nobody you email or speak to can do anything to rectify. I spent £8k and wish I had used another supplier. My advice is go with a UK based manufacturer, even if it costs more.

Will never use Tuin again under any circumstances.

The entire process from selecting the right cabin and advice received the delivery was refreshing and so helpful put it exactly were I wanted it for build.

Now it’s all built it looks a million dollars easy to erect good quality and has been a very easy process.

ordered Impregnation coating for the interior of our cabin which is 7 years old to reduce the effects of damp in an unheated space. applied easily and feedback from team on application was very helpful and quick

Ordered a Gazebo for a Pub 5.5m x5.5m. Excellent company to deal with.
One thing I really liked was being able to pay via PayPal and not asking for deposit up front. Had a couple of problems but excellent after sales and was soon resolved even though one was my mistake.
Again I would really recommend Tuin exalant company

"Bespoke Peggy log cabin (2.5M X 3.5M)"

Everything was very simple to arrange, from start to finish. Delivery was smooth, the driver put our cabin parts neatly on the drive. We sorted the parts into the order as per the instructions and set about building or rather assembling our log cabin. About 6 hours later our bespoke Peggy cabin was almost complete. The next day we put on the roof shingles and put the flooring down. This has got to be the best way to build a log cabin, slotting sections together with ease and so quickly.
