I recently had solar panels installed by Egg, and I can’t praise the team enough for their exceptional service. From start to finish, the process was seamless and professional.

A huge shoutout to the brilliant installer Alex, who was efficient, knowledgeable, and meticulous throughout the installation. The electricians, Tom and Dan, were equally fantastic – their attention to detail and professionalism were second to none.

Special thanks to Jade Limond, the Project Manager, whose outstanding communication both before and after the installation made the whole experience stress-free. Jade kept me informed at every stage, answered all my questions promptly, and ensured everything ran smoothly.

Egg truly lives up to its name – they did a "cracking job" from start to finish. I would highly recommend Egg to anyone considering solar energy.

Egg should feel very proud to have someone like Chris working for them, not only was he professional and polite, he explained things as he was going about his work and answering any questions I'd had. He reassured me even if the issue could not be fixed as his wanted, that they would be other options available and that he would ensure that he would not leave site until everything was ok.

He had other jobs to do, but he did not rush things and leave me to it unlike your contractor who originally installed the charger.

Despite the initial issue with charger, between the customer service team & Chris things got resolved quickly, without any fuss so something to feel proud about.

Smooth process from sales to after care/service. Responsive to requests and upgrades and when there was a slight niggle (wrong panels delivered) during install it was resolved the same day. Both Mia (PM) and Rhys (sales) were excellent. And at 0% over 5 years cheaper than stealing! - even if the overall investment is not the cheapest on the market. You defo get what you pay for. Thanks for a smooth process so far

"I had some issues with my EV charging…"

I had some issues with my EV charging point where it stops charging my vehicle. I contacted Egg, Nessy was assigned to the case. She was absolutely brilliant. She took ownership of the case and was very good at it. She answered me promptly and always checked to make sure that everything is okay. I was having problems getting my car connected to the app after the engineer had reinstalled a new EV charger and Nessy went above and beyond to help me to get connected. She’s a great asset to Egg and is a great example of what good customer service should be like. Every organisation needs a Nessy working for them. She’s knowledgeable about her job and communicates well, which makes me feel like a valuable customer. I greatly appreciate the service received.

Whilst initial communication was a bit slow,and picture reliant, I felt i could have saved loads of time by explaining to a technical engineer, confirming my requirements. As i did not want huge cables tacked all over the front of my house,i took it upon myself to purchase the correct cables to get them where they needed to be.. I eventually got a call from Dean, who was extremely helpful and assured me that he could have someone to install my equipment within a couple of days. This was excellent news, as we had been relying on expensive supermarket chargers until that time.
The engineer who visited was super efficient and professional.

"Terrible experience with service"

Terrible experience with service. They are super helpful and attentive when they are quoting and getting you to sign the contract but as soon as that it done it all goes downhill.

I have been waiting for nearly 4 months and I still don’t have an installation date. It’s been excuse after excuse.

I wouldn’t waste your time with Egg, there are other companies who offer the same deals and can actually deliver.
