"To make the switch from something else…"

To make the switch from something else after all these years proved challenging but the team at Egg where fantastic and very patient! They walked us through step by step, when things didn't go smoothly, due to lack of technical knowledge on our part not Eggs, they went above and beyond to steer us through the process!

"Really poor service"

Really poor service. It's going to take almost a year for panels and a battery to be installed. They failed to check with the Dno application and told me it takes 12 weeks.... Not 12 months. Speaking with support is like talking to a robot. Carefully dodges your questions and takes over a day to respond. Never do they answer your questions as you ask them. Wish I never bothered with them to begin with.

What was offered instead was the ability not to export... I would have had to pay the same amount but not get the features they promised! Please be truthful in the replies

"One of the best examples of customer service"

People always like to leave reviews when things don’t go to plan but very few talk about the good.

I’ve recently placed an order for a EV charger to be installed at my house and the service has been AMAZING. Initially I was unsure if Egg could install the charger as I’ve been rejected from other large provides as we have a none standard installation need. I called the phone number and dealt with Llona. She was able to answer all my questions before placing the order to give me full reassurance and also answered all the questions I had. Llona made suggestions on the best charger to get and initially, I was going for a more expensive charger but she explained a cheaper one could be better for my requirements. It was refreshing to have someone go suggest a cheaper option when normally it’s the other way around.

Once the order was placed, Llona called me to advise the next steps, talk about the options of installation and set out a clear timeline of what to expect. Llona made a number of suggestions that would be possible and explained why this was. Throughout this Llona and the installer was considering the aesthetics and how they can hide to wires as best as possible to ensure it didn’t change the look of the property. A few pictures were also shared to bring to life their thoughts.

I’m still to have the charger installed if this is the level of service so far, I know the rest will be just as outstanding!

It’s so refreshing to have continually correspondence with the same person from before inception.

"Simply awesome"

Simply awesome! I appreciate very much the fact that these guys are not pushy or annoying when initially quoting or getting in touuch with you. Very fast on their responses, reliable and to the point. They do as they say on the tin, and bit more to be honest. Very polite, the installation was as planned and on time, very flexible the engineers very tidy and explained everything and set up everything. Their response back with the documentation to switch tariff was about 4-5 days. Their quote was the best i could find and very flexible payment plans as well. Very very good experience overall and definitely recommend them!
