All that 'interest free' advertising is priced into their quotes. Had a very disappointing experience with their sales team, who were eager to slag off other installers (proof), despite the competitors actually having better trust pilot ratings.
Stick to an honest company, like Octopus.

I was asked to send a blueprint of how I wanted the cable run. I cleared my porch out sort the engineer could go through my gararage into the porch and to the outside wall. Instead he drilled at an angle but didn't make it through to the otherside of the garage so had to drill through the garage. The hole was a mess considering it wasn't the exit drill so I had to put a blast plate on and left what seems an unnecessary long drip loop.

I got a great 5 year 0 deposit, 0% APR deal through Egg for a fairly competitive price for a PW3 install. There was good communication throughout and had my PW3 fitted within 2 months of signing the contract (most of the wait was because of the DNO approval). Egg also offers a best-in-class 5 year workmanship warranty which gave me much peace of mind - I've had a bad experience with cowboy solar installers who completely messed up the wiring on the original PV install that the previous owner of the house didn't realise.
I can't fault the service.

"Poor customer services when things go wrong"
My car charger has been faulty for 10 days now and absolutely no urgency from Egg to resolve the issue. I have to constantly chase for updates only to be told that the issue with their 3rd party supplier who they are working closely with to resolve. Over 10 days is not closely enough and the lack of updates is an absolute joke considering we are a 2 EV family without a fully functional charger.

"Disgrace of a company"
Disgrace of a company. Please see original review. Still no charger after a month. New charger fitted (cheaper version than I paid for), which now needs a part. Supposed to come back this morning, but having taken time off work have just been called to say they can't get the part. Tried to call Egg hundreds of times for constantly ring out. Worst customer care I have ever experienced. I look forward to them replying to this with an explanation and more lies. I await a response.

Months after it stopped working, they replaced my old (melted) charger. This was done late at night (8-12 hours late), with the installers (random 3rd party) making a sharp exit without checking if it works. It doesn't work, with Egg asking us to do random things that don't fix it. Unless you have a sadistic urge to pay over a grand to sit in public charging stations for months, paying very high charging costs, then do not touch with a barge pole. PS. A lot of strange uniformity in the positive reviews of Egg. They must install a lot of chargers for people that share identical punction and grammar, or have customers that are lazy and use AI to write positive reviews.
