These people are straight scammers they need zero stars and should not be able to run a business them or vivant they lie about the service and take your money put you on auto pay without your consent tell you one price bill you for another say they will change it never do then when you call back oh the bill had already went out it will change next month same story the next month and the next just take your money and lie imq reporting them and vivant they are ridiculous

Wife paid the card balance IN FULL with a single payment of ~$1800 and they took TWO payments of that amount out of our account a week apart and closed the card. She finally spoke to a rep, they said it's in review and should have a response in 3-5 days. Two weeks later, it's 'still in review' and will be 7-10 business days for a refund of the ILLEGALLY and ERRONEOUSLY withdrawn amount. This company is GARBAGE and should be investigated by the FTC. I intend to file a complaint with the FTC's Bureau of Consumer Protection and my state's Attorney General's Office Fraud Hotline.

This company is fundamentally incompetent. No matter what account I use, they can't manage to process my payment properly for more than a month or two without telling me the payment is late. I'm tired of wasting my time and having to contact them every couple of months, so I pad it off in full.

Im being charged $316 in interest for defective furniture that was returned to Furniture Row and replaced with something of a lesser value. I would not complain about paying fair interest but being billed for something I don’t even own is just WRONG

Closed my account for no reason.
Got a letter stating they closed my account due to unexpected activity/fraud. But no one ever called me about anything suspicious. They can just block transactions or don't allow a charge if something looks suspicious. Call me or something and ask. Yet, they just close the account. This is how they treat their customers. Maybe they are in financial trouble or something. Who knows. But I won't ever do business with Fortiva ever again.

Would give negative stars if I could. I made the mistake of joining them about two years ago for a procedure. I was working at the time and paying it off as I went. So payment wasn't as much of a problem for me. Then suddenly, around this time last year, they closed my account without notice. No explanation. Nothing. After going radio silent for a year, not only is someone now contacting my DAD about the payments. They even discussed my balance with him which is completely against FDCPA regulations! I don't know how they got his number as I don't see it offered anywhere in my account. I'm currently unemployed right now. I CANNOT pay that balance and I refuse to get anybody else dragged into my problem. The customer support is also really terrible. They never answer my questions. Just give me the runaround. AVOID THEM IF YOU CAN!

My mom being the brilliant senile coot that she is decided on getting a home depot credit card for a $20 purchase. A year later she gets a $60 annual fee. She paid it off and closed the account. Now she is still getting charged for no reason.

I purchased some items on credit from Fortiva through Guitar Center. Fully paid everything off well ahead of time. Didn't think about Fortiva again for over a year. Suddenly receive a bogus "service fee" charge close to 100 dollars. Then when I failed to pay it on time because I didn't even realize what happened, they tacked on an extra 60 dollars in late fees. Everything was fine until this. My suggestion to you is if you're desperate to buy an instrument at Guitar Center for some reason and you must go this route... Pay it off quickly and CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT immediately! This kind of dishonest small print "gotcha" business practice should be ILLEGAL! They know hardly anyone would even know this charge was coming especially after a year of inactivity on an account. If I didn't catch it they would have just kept tacking on fees and charges endlessly. The lady on the phone knew it too. Her tone was like she hated her job and knew I got ripped off. This company is a thief and probably now I'll take a hit on my credit score because I ever dealt with them at all! Avoid!!!!

I’ve had this account for some years now. Suddenly I am being charged a monthly fee. There are absolutely no perks with this card and with no cost to them to have me as a client it is simply not justified. The customer service agents are rude and hard to understand. I closed my account as they are unwilling to discuss these fees. Stay away from this card
