"Buyer Beware"
As a credit card, it is not bad technically, but if you want an increase in your credit limit, they will charge you. I recently received a message from them allowing me to increase my credit limit by $100, but they will charge me $19.95 for this increase. That speaks for itself about what kind of company this is. I was not charged an annual fee, but I am not going to waste my time with a company that charges their customers for credit limit increases.

"maintenance fee"
I have never use the card and they are starting to charge maintenance fee, Then a week later they charge me more maintenance fee on top of what they where charging me before. Why charge a maintenance fee when I haven't use their worthless card. I wouldn't recommend that card to my worst enemy. I cancelled the worthless card, and they had the audacity of sending me another bill for maintenance fee, making my bill higher. I do not recommend this card to anyone, they will charge the hell out of you.

"If I could give a negative review I…"
If I could give a negative review I most definitely would.
Oh where to begin, well starting off I never received my first bill. So I had to do a double payment on the 2nd one.
They keep saying that July wasn't paid but my bank says otherwise. I told them that, then they said well august wasn't paid, well try that again because my bank account says it was paid at this date at this time. So on and so forth until the month we're in.
Then on top of that I signed the agreement for 0% same as cash for 12m. But every bill I got in had an interest added on the bill. The most recent one was $1.05. so much for no interest for the contract.
Plus, because of their incompetence of not doing the billing correct they hit my credit for 110 points.
Trying to get a supervisor is impossible bc they won't give me one. They straight out said we don't have a supervisor or I won't do that.
I'm gonna pay off the bill of course but I am going to talk to an attorney bc it seems like to me that would be false advertisement and possibly breach of contract.
In my opinion they would be considered as a predatory lender and should be shutdown or fined till shutdown.
F these people.

"I have a perfect credit rating"
I have a perfect credit rating. I got Vivint security and also got it for my daughter. Yet Vivint wanted my daughter setup under Fortiva which I knew nothing about until I noticed a monthly fee charge of $12.50 as a cash advance fee. I screwed up—I should have done my research before buying Vivint thru Fortiva. Also, no one should trust Vivint.
I am updating my review from 1 star to 4 stars. Fortiva helped me update my Fortiva account by using a debit card so that there will be no cash advance fees. I received excellent help on the phone and online by a real person. The main original problem lies with Vivint.

"No Annual Fee Credit Card is a Lie"
I've had a Fortiva credit card for about a year and a half now. They advertised 'No Annual Fee'. I've charged around $1,100 in the past and never been late and am paying this enormous interest rate of 32%+ now. I have a perfect record with my account. However, they sent me an email saying they're changing their terms and conditions. From now on they will be charging an 'Annual Maintenance Fee' of $60 per year, charged at $5/month whether you have a balance or not! This is to begin in November 2023. When I called to ask why they were doing this to my account (because I had a perfect record of payments) they said they were doing it to ALL customers! They can disguise their new annual fee by calling it a 'maintenance fee' if they like, but it's basically an annual fee. How can you charge a maintenance fee when the account has a zero balance? Maintenance to do what? Nothing! I don't need this. I have other credit cards and I refuse to pay an annual fee to a bank that is already collecting an over 30% interest rate. I called Fortiva credit card and had them cancel my account the day I received the email. Thank God I just recently paid my balance off. They also told me it would take until Nov. 30th to close my account and I called on October 9th. Really? 7 weeks to close my account?? Ridiculous! Now, my credit score has just taken a hit. How? (1) I've now closed an account and (2) I've lost $1500 available credit that added to my total credit availability when figuring my percentage of available credit vs credit debt. I am NOT happy with Fortiva for changing their terms of service. What if I had of ignored the email? How sneaky of them to change everybody's credit card account by adding a fee when they advertised the card as No Annual Fee. Just down right dishonest. Goodbye Fortiva Bank. I don't want to do business with you anymore. I do not recommend Fortiva Credit Card.

"The customer service is terrible"
The customer service is terrible! I made a payment three weeks ago online that did not show up the next day. It showed no record of that payment being made so I made a second one like an idiot, which resulted in two payments, going through my bank, and one of them not being authorized. They have suspended my account and charged me a $25 NSF fee even though my bank waived all fees because they said it was not authorized. I’m getting nowhere with this company.

"If I could give them 0"
If I could give them 0, I would.
Got a 0% interest for 12 months. The first payment they took the full amount (and also charged a $79 annual fee). I called land disputed that, they said it was refunded and would take 10 business days for me to have a refund check after it was cleared from my bank. The money cleared 8/31. I called monday 9/18, no check. Was told it would be here by Friday. Called again 9/22, still no check. At that time was told the "back office" didn't clear the refund until 9/11 so it would be 10 business days from then to get my refund. Told again to wait. Called again 9/25. Nothing. Spoke with a supervisor, Manuela. She said she would personally call me with an update on the 27th. Guess who didn't call. Spoke with John, another supposed supervisor. No help. I told him to reverse the refund and close the account. He said it would take 3-5 days for that to take effect. Let's see if that's true, but I'm highly suspicious that I'll have to call them AGAIN.
They have been nothing but a headache and I wish I would have just paid outright.

Bad customer service trying to get access to my statements. Aug and Sept, I am unable to access. Worst customer service. Such a disappointment.

"APR 36%!"
I just received a notice that their annual APR is now 36%! Is that legal? Loan sharks don’t charge that much interest.
