"Refusing to compensate for time worked"

I have been playing one of their games for over a month now, and suddenly the tracking has stopped working on the game. I have not changed a single setting on my phone, and double-checked that the tracking was on in my settings. I contacted support roughly a week ago to report progress that had not been marked as completed and sent video proof. They credited my account so I kept playing the game thinking it was a one-time issue. Today I reached another goal on the same game and it once again failed to track. I contacted support again at which point I was informed that they cannot credit my account again. This is unacceptable. I have spent hours "working" on this game, and they are now failing to compensate me on services rendered. I've been using this app for over a year now and have run into some minor issues, but nothing like this until now. If proof can be provided, there should be no reason to not be compensated. I will be reaching out to the BBB as well, and any other routes I need to take until this issue is taken seriously. To me, this seems like a recipe for a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.

"KaskKick supports the Advertisers and Not The Players"

I've been playing similar 'play games for money' apps for the last 10 years. I have had problems in the past with a game not being downloaded correctly from apps such as JustPlay and Mistplay, and reported to their customer assistance portal that I had an issue. Each time, the app team looks into my discrepancy, figured out why it happened, and informed me on necessary steps or compensated me for the issues. This has come to be my expectation with these companies.

I have been playing KaskKick for about 2 or 3 months now, and this is the first time I've had a problem where I downloaded a game and it didn't register under my playable games. The app does say to wait 24 hours for changes, so after the first initial hour of game play when I checked back in the app and saw the problem, I stopped playing. I have not played this game since. The same day, I made periodic checks to KashKick to see if it had updated yet. It never appeared in my games, so I checked in the 'available games' section. It wasn't there anymore. For the later half of the day, the game was not available on the app at all. That was yesterday. This morning, I checked into KashKick again - nothing in my games, but suddenly the other game is back? It's in their available games list. Since, at this point, I had given them the 24 hours that was requested through the app, I submitted a ticket.

It took me almost 30 minutes to do so because the app kept sending me back to the home page. It didn't allow me to submit any pictures, else I would be sent back to the home page. I couldn't fully explain what had happened through their help center, because it only allows for 300 CHARACTERS for their explanation. So, I had to shorten it significantly.

Because of this, the representative speaking with me (A. L.) started our conversation like this: "I regret to inform you that we do not find any records for the offer you inquired about in your account. If you do not see it in the "my games/my challenges" tab, this could be due to a discrepancy in the app download or tracking process. It's important to ensure that your account reflects a successful installation of the app from KashKick, as the tracking must function correctly for the advertiser to credit your account for any progress in the game."

She then recommended that I revisit my "KashKick account after you've downloaded a game and opened it for the first time. Check the "my games/my challenges" tab to ensure that your new game is listed and that your earnings account reflects a "Successfully Installed the App" status." From what I gather, this means that, even if I hadn't played any amount of time on the game after downloading, gone straight back to the app to find it wasn't in my games, and immediately reached out to support, I would still lose out on being able to play that game or earn anything from it because (from the apps perspective) I downloaded the game before accepting the challenge. So, checking to see that it is in my games before I start playing does save me from 'wasting time', but it doesn't give me the opportunity to ever earn from that game again. Just after that helpful little nugget of bs, she tells me "Unfortunately, we cannot assist with inquiries when the advertiser fails to report the transaction to our platform."

Well, after an introduction like that I was very upset, and expressed as much through my messaging; however, I also informed her that my BIGGEST concern was that the app disappeared and then reappeared during this time frame. I asked if this was normal, I asked that this aspect be investigated, and I told her it sounds like an app developer can basically post up their game on the app and take it back down whenever they want without having to honor anything for the people that downloaded it. I asked that if she was unable to help me that I be connected to a supervisor.

This was the reply: "I understand your concerns, however, the system operates by having the game automatically track and report your progress as you achieve more levels and when you achieve the levels that contain rewards, then your rewards are added automatically. This is why it is important for the games to be visible in the "my games/my challenges" tab right after installation and why we do not have the ability to manually add games to this tab." She did not address my previously noted big concern, she did not make anything clear, she did not connect me with her supervisor, and, after I responded back a second time, she has not spoken to me since.

TL,DR: kashkick only cares about keeping the advertisers happy, and the advertisers only care that you download their game. Don't bother with these guys - there is always another app.
