"No Brakes-Worn Out Car-Cleaning Fee"

If you want a car with no brakes, one that has a broken seatbelt connection that sets off a loud alarm constantly and one totally worn out and then fraudulently wants you to pay a cleaning fee then this is your company! I would avoid them like the plague! I was not able to give it 0 Stars.

Oulala attention ce sont des voleurs des menteurs et des escrocs surtout surtout ne prenez pas chez eux je vous en supplie vous risquerez d'avoir de très mauvaise surprise soit ils vous demande des frais en plus minimum 100€ soit ils ne vous donne pas le véhicule de location et vous êtes dans un pays que vous connaissez pas au Maroc à l'aéroport de rabat à 20h donc à faire impérativement

"You book a decent car and maybe get a junker"

We got a Peugeot 301 that AddCar Prevesa must have flagged down on its way to be scrapped; thinking "that will make a valuable addition to our fleet". In the light when we picked it up could see rust around the rear window and numerous dings and dents. As it got dark on hairpin roads we discovered the driver's headlight was out and the nearside was misaligned, a near death experience I hope not to repeat. On the way we had to repair the pre-broken gear stick trim with chewing gum, on the move. In the light the next day, we could see the back of the driver's seat was ripped right open. Yes, we do have the pictures. Given the age and condition the quite unbelievable 39K km on the clock (from memory, that they didn't even bother recording on the rental form) could only have been the second go around that clock. It was telling that, on pick up, they told us only to worry if we wrote it off or got it stolen. Frankly, we could have purchased a better car for the rental fee and done the world a favour by driving it into the sea after use. We wasted a day of our holiday and two goes at returning this junker to the airport (which made it 3 or 4 times as expensive as the rental, really, in lost holiday time), and could only get a wholly unsuitable (for Lefkada) 7 seater replacement; take it or leave it, matey, it's all we have got and there was no chance of a cross hire from any other supplier from the many at the airport. All in all an unedifying learning experience.

A Heartbreaking Experience with Car Jet and AddCar Rentals - Proceed with Extreme Caution

I feel compelled to share an unfortunate and deeply frustrating experience that my friend endured when renting a car through Car Jet, under booking reference CJT-136296062 (24-SOF-397), from July 16th to July 28th, 2024. What was supposed to be a straightforward car rental turned into a distressing ordeal that I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

The booking process began on July 9th, 2024, when my friend paid 515 euros online, which was supposed to cover both the vehicle rental and insurance. Everything seemed fine until he arrived at the rental location, where things took a drastic turn. He was blindsided by a demand for a 2400 euro deposit—an enormous amount that was never mentioned during the booking process. After hours of tense and stressful negotiations, they finally agreed to reduce the deposit to 1534 euros, split into two payments of 622 euros and 912 euros. However, the stress didn’t end there. He was also slapped with an unexpected 120 euro fee for crossing the border—a charge that was never communicated to him beforehand.

But the real heartbreak began after he returned the car. Despite being promised that his deposit would be promptly refunded, my friend is still waiting to see 912 euros returned to his account. The delay has been excruciating, filled with countless attempts to get in touch with both Car Jet and AddCar Rentals. His trust in these companies has been completely shattered, and his faith in what should have been a simple, honest transaction has been eroded.

What’s most troubling is that while AddCar Rentals may bear the immediate responsibility, Car Jet cannot escape accountability. They chose to partner with this company, and by doing so, they are vouching for their reliability. Yet, when things went wrong, Car Jet was nowhere to be found—no support, no communication, just silence. My friend was left feeling abandoned, with no recourse and no idea if or when he might see his hard-earned money again.

Car Jet urgently needs to reassess the companies they partner with. Trust is the cornerstone of any service, especially one as essential as car rentals. If their partners are engaging in shady practices or failing to provide the service customers deserve, Car Jet should be stepping in to rectify the situation, not washing their hands of it.

This experience has not only been financially draining but emotionally exhausting as well. It’s been weeks of anxiety and frustration, with no resolution in sight. My friend and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same nightmare.

I strongly urge anyone considering renting through Car Jet to think twice. Their failure to manage their partnerships effectively and to stand by their customers in times of need is deeply concerning. Please, save yourself the stress and choose a rental company that is reliable, transparent, and truly cares about their customers.

If you’re reading this, I hope it helps you avoid the same fate. Please share this story with others, so that more people are aware of the risks involved. Car Jet and their partners should be held accountable, and future customers deserve to know the truth.

Do not book with ADDCAR in BELGRADE.
I rented a car for two weeks, it was returned with 14 days of use and they charged me 40 euros because they said the car was dirty.
I repeat, the car was clean, it was only in the state of 14 days of use.
On top of that, I reviewed the contract and the cleaning fee I had accepted was only 35 euros.

"J'ai vécu une expérience désastreuse en…"

J'ai vécu une expérience désastreuse en août 2024 avec AddCar, une filiale de Carjet. Je suis extrêmement déçu par leur service, qui manque cruellement de professionnalisme et de respect envers les engagements pris vis-à-vis des clients.

Dès le début, j'ai été contacté par un représentant qui m'a informé de l'annulation imminente de ma réservation, bien que le véhicule ait été réservé et payé à l'avance. On m'a mis une pression inacceptable en m'exigeant d'être sur place dans les 15 minutes, sous peine de perdre ma réservation. Cette situation est tout simplement incroyable et inacceptable.

À mon arrivée à l'aéroport de Tanger, j'ai découvert qu'il n'y avait pas de bureau AddCar sur place. Le véhicule qui m'a été attribué ne correspondait en rien à ma réservation. Non seulement il était accidenté, mais son moteur était faible et lent, rendant la conduite désagréable et dangereuse. J'avais loué un véhicule d'une certaine catégorie, mais je me suis retrouvé avec la pire option possible.

De plus, la voiture était dans un état lamentable : très sale et dégageant une forte odeur de peinture fraîchement appliquée, manifestement à la main. Certains morceaux de bandes de protection avaient même été oubliés après la peinture. Le représentant m'a alors informé que c'était à moi de payer pour faire laver le véhicule, une demande scandaleuse compte tenu des circonstances.

Lorsque j'ai exprimé mon mécontentement, le représentant, qui conduisait une Dacia neuve et propre appartenant à la société, a réagi de manière agressive et impolie, refusant de reconnaître le problème.

Au moment de rendre la voiture, bien que je sois arrivé en avance et que j'aie informé le service clientèle de mon arrivée, j'ai dû attendre indéfiniment car le représentant était « occupé », ce qui m'a presque fait rater mon vol. Finalement, ce même représentant m'a dit que tout était en ordre et que la caution serait restituée automatiquement, sans me fournir le moindre document ou preuve écrite pour le confirmer.

Face à un tel manque de professionnalisme, comment peut-on faire confiance à cette société, intermédiaire de Carjet ? En l'absence totale de transparence et de respect du client, je ne peux que conseiller vivement de fuir AddCar. Cette expérience a été une véritable arnaque du début à la fin.

Avoid companies like Car Jet and their partners (Add Car) and others!!!!!
My husband and I booked and paid (Booking reference CJT-136296062 (24-SOF-397),for a car rental and full insurance with Car Jet, when we picked up the car on 16.07.24, they tried to take a deposit of 2400 euros from us, although the websites of both companies indicate completely different information! After much debate, we agreed on a deposit of €1,500, which we left and left with peace of mind, but the horror began after we returned the car (in the same condition as when we took it) and we were assured that the deposit would be returned in the coming days, which unfortunately did not happen (((( after long conversations and correspondence, part of the deposit was returned (€600), the second part (€900) was assured that we had to wait 30 working days, but this did not happen and after 30 days ((((( after 30 days add car we were told that €900 was payment for insurance, to all our arguments that this could not be insurance, since we paid for car jet insurance, they did not react in any way and nothing was said about it, but the deposit was clearly indicated! To my great disappointment, Car jet does not help or protect its clients in any way, but on the contrary, I got the impression that it is involved in these schemes! My friends, what can I tell you? Add Car and Car Jet literally stole our money! Be careful and avoid these companies if possible!!

"Addcar Fails Miserably – Unwarranted Funds Hold and Laughable Excuse"

I am thoroughly disappointed with Addcars. After returning the rental car without any issues, I was flabbergasted to find that they’ve held onto my funds for a whole month. The lack of justification for this prolonged hold is infuriating.
Adding insult to injury, their customer service fed me an utterly absurd excuse. They claimed they “manually tried to cancel the reservation but couldn’t get a connection.” Is this some sort of joke? It’s hard to believe a company of this scale would use such a flimsy excuse to cover up their apparent inefficiency.
This kind of incompetence and poor customer service is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend avoiding Addcar to avoid similar frustrations. Their handling of my funds and their pathetic excuse for the delay have made it clear they are not a company worth dealing with.
