"Breakdown in communication"

Having had some issues regarding an additional policy, and seemingly getting nowhere with Customer Service, contact was made with Ross at Surecover Group. Ross took full responsibility of resolving the complaint, making follow up calls and keeping me up to date with the progress of the refund. The issue was swiftly resolved and restored our faith in Surecover Group, who we already have a policy for our washing machine, which we are very satisfied with.
Thanks Ross for your help and a great Customer Service.

"Washing Machine Fault"

I was fairly sceptical about Surecover following the deceptive method used to extend the cover on my John Lewis washing machine. I recieved no paperwork or t and c's following the transaction. So was not aware of any qualifying period that applied to the cover despite the 3 year previous cover.
However, my WM developed a fault so made contact with Surecover to get it attended to. Preston Mvinjelwa was the person that took my call. Preston was extremely friendly, courteous and professional from the start. He advised that there was a 45 day qualifying period so could not do anything until that period was over. After a quick conversation about my experience with the cover extension and no following paperwork. Preston managed to action the claim earlier. The communication from there on and follow up calls were excellent. Right down to the service company that would attend do the work.
Preston also advised to check the filter on the WM and clean it if necessary. I did that and tested the WM a few times and the fault was cured. I advised Preston of this and we cancelled the call out. So his advice saved a call out charge and wasting an engineer's and my time.
Very pleased overall, would have been a 5 star if the call to extend the cover was more clear, less misleading and the paperwork followed.

Christie was super helpful. I got cut off on the initial call and she phoned me back four times in order to get the service call booked. She really went above and beyond the normal call of duty.

Bit of miscommunication between departments for a few days that caused a bit of stress but eventually it was finally solved by Stuart the manager. Looking forward to receiving my new machine. Rating for the company rather than for Stuart. Some staff very friendly and helpful. Others not so much. Luck of the draw.
