"Resolution to my satisfaction"

So far my experience has been terrible. I have made over 15 calls in 2 days, continually cut off whilst waiting on hold. I got through eventually and was also cut off 3 times mid call. I was sold this £198 policy on the basis that they aim to come out to repair within 48hrs. When I finally got through to someone, after I emailed them on the 17th Sept as a back up, on the 18th she said they can come look at it on the Friday 22nd. Now had a text saying date of repair visit will be the 27th!!! so my washing is stuck in a machine, I could have just gone out and bought a new machine for £198. VERY dissatisfied so far. Presently on my 3rd or 4th attempt today to get through and ask why the date of visit, that may not even result in a repair is 10 days after the fault reported.

Well, I have just been phoned by Ross at Surecover, who has very quickly dealt with this complaint to full satisfaction, reflected in my re score of this review. He has also promised to look into the phone line issues, which made the experience somewhat worse than it should have been.

"Beware Surecover take payments without…"

Beware Surecover take payments without authorisation. Please read through previous Trustpilot reviews and you will see a pattern that are not mistakes.
They appear to make unsolicited phone calls to sell their services and when you agree to making a payment, you then find further unauthorised payments taken from your account.

"They take money without permission"

This will be the 2nd time I have recieved a phone call from them to say they are updating my paperwork, with no extra charge (as I have already paid for 3 years) and then later I see £240 has been taken out of my account without permission! Because of what happened last time, I double checked on the call - “I won’t need to pay any more or any extra payments?” To which the man replied “no, you’re all covered until 2025”….. then a £240 payment goes out of my account. Now I have to go through the complaints process, etc. it’s a joke!

From the company, was totally professional and left me in no doubt that she was the right person to get the job done after a prior less than satisfactory conversation with another member of the company.
She followed up on an issue which could have been problematic and resolved it.

Once again a call to check all ok I said yes, that’s good your covered till 2027. I check you’re not taking any money from me? No!! I’ll send paperwork, never had any paperwork. So much for pride in out professionalism. Next day £240 out of my account again without permission. Worse company I have had the misfortune to encounter.
Since this review Lucy from Surecover contacted me and dealt swiftly the wrong doings by a member of staff. A big thank you for dealing with this, let’s hope all your colleagues learn by your example if how to deal honestly with clients. 😁😁😁
