Everything ran smoothly plus very competitive pricing and a nice enough looking watch for the price. Being a Seiko 5, I'd not expected top notch Rolex standards,but certainly a very adequate quality of feel and build robustness. Maybe I shouldn't have expected better but it looked all of that and more, actually of a higher quality in theadvertised imagery and more so as my 1960s vintage gold plated Seiko 5 is of very solid quality. And so, this one was rather disappointing. Not Watch Nation's fault though, it's only Seiko's failing in their build quality especially so on the gold coloured linked bracelet that feels verycheap and tinny with similar low quality feel to their clasp. Take note Seiko, cutting quality won't keep my custom and the Seiko 5 is an iconic model that deserves better. Quick update. I decided to return the first watch and buy the latest Seiko 5 Sports GMT automatic. They all went without a hitch and my new watch arrived next day after the order. A few days later on browsing the Watch Nation (WN) website I noticed a further Cyber Monday? reduction had been made to the same GMT I'd just purchased. On approaching WN about this price drop,they understood my slight upset they I is maid a higher price not 3 days before. WN offered, as a goodwill gesture and without any fuss, to refund me the price difference of £25.00. This was very decent of them and shows what sort of company they are, in placing customer satisfaction at the top of their priorities. Thank you WN, until my next purchase.
