"REPORTING THE METER READING"
Every month when I have to call to report my meter reading, the customer service on the phone is as helpful as possible, and normally, the waiting time is not too excessive.
However, sometimes one does not have the time and patience to wait on the phone, or we can only make that call before or after work which is out of Foxglove office hours, so we miss to give the readings, leading to the estimated bill and we end up paying more. So, I do think that the process could be better for the client if it was Foxglove Energy who gets in touch with us asking for the meter reading or if we could go online and report it on to our account.

I had been looking for an environmentally friendly, clean energy company for a while - not just a mainstream energy company who paid lip service to the ideology without effectively backing it up!
I have found Foxglove to be true to their word whilst also listening to their customers.
A switch of energy providers I wish I had made sooner!

I've reviewed Foxglove Energy before - truthfully and in a bad light. Then when they ask me to respond with my account number in order to investigate it isn't possible to reply. So I emailed them instead, giving the necessary info but no, that's not good enough for them, they need my name, address, phone number before they can do anything. It's a total waste if my time and theirs. To reiterate, the admin side is about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. Go anywhere but don't go to Foxglove. I am presently weighing up my options as I intend to find another provider.

The switch was painful thanks to my previous supplier and a dodgy. meter. Once sorted there were no problems. The company also handle my solar panel readings and income. As this was a new home for us at the time of the switch it is not possible to quantify savings but the unit rate are significantly lower than the previous supplier.
