"Purchased a new 10hp electric start…"

Purchased a new 10hp electric start engine for my cyclone rake, upon setup and starting the engine, it was obvious that the flywheel is hitting something inside the shroud and creating a terrible squealing noise. I contacted the company and was told on a few occasions that someone would get right back to me, needless to say that never happened I did get emails asking if I would take pictures or video the problem even after I explained that the problem is inside of the engine, never less they either didn't understand or really do not know about the product that they sell. All in all, it took three days of me calling to finally get someone who could possibly make a decision. This decision was to either bring the engine to a repair shop or give them my credit card information so they could send me a replacement engine, then they would not charge my card if I sent the defective engine back to them, neither option sits well with me since now I don't trust them. I didn't pay $1200 plus dollars for this engine so that I could go and have it repaired, I also explained the engine came with screws missing from the shroud and was told that is normal and happens sometimes. I have spent thousands of dollars with this company over the years based on the reputation for customer service. I have been running my business for over 35 years and would never treat a customer the way I have been treated. Without loyal and trusted customers, you have no business, your product for the most part is good, but without good customer service it doesn't instill confidence that when problems do arise, someone will be there to assist. All in all, after this experience you can count me out as a loyal customer.

03/26/25 Update - Received a call from Mr. Griffin White president of Woodland Power Products, explained my frustration with how things were progressing, and he was very professional and made sure that this problem was taken care of ASAP. I really appreciate the fact that he took a personal interest in my situation. I have changed my rating to 5 stars based on how Mr. Griffin handled this particular situation. Thank you for the timely resolution.

"Long lasting quality machines"

This is my second Cyclone Rake in 15 years, I wore the first one completely out. I expect to get the same long quality service out of my new machine.

"Excellent guidance and support"

I recently had the pleasure of working with Keria at Cyclone Rake / Woodland Power Products. I had narrowed down my decision to 3 different models with upgrade options. I contacted their support number and after speaking with Keria, I felt completely clear and confident in making my purchase. Furthermore, she was able to explain things to me to help "future-proof" my purchase in the event of changing riding mowers. During our call, she took the time to ask questions and make recommendations. She was never pushy and was even able to set everything up in my shopping cart so that I could check-out on my own timetable and work with their available financing service. I felt reassured and validated and was even able to save extra money than what I expected to pay and stay below my budget. Thank you, Keira for all of your help and guidance and support!!

"Helpful but not pushy"

I visited the sales office in West Haven last fall to see the product for myself before committing to a purchase. I was helped by a very knowledgable Sales Rep who walked me through each element of the Cyclone Rake and helped me sort out what I needed to order. Over the winter, they kept in touch without being pushy. I had decided to wait until spring to place my order. It was completed with a phone call and confirmed with an email almost immediately. I was kept informed as the payment cleared and my order was filled. Currently, my order is intransit and I expect final assembly will be as simple and clean as the entire order fulfillment process. Woodland Power Products is a first class organization and a pleasure to do business with.

"Purchasing a lawn vacuum is a daunting…"

Purchasing a lawn vacuum is a daunting experience - with at least my biggest concern - "am I making a mistake?". The 2 customer service / sales calls I had were outstanding. They walked me through products, explained differences, asked me about my lawn and what and how I expected to use the vacuum. NO PRESSURE TO BUY AT ALL! and that was a good feeling. They made very appropriate recommendations and explained why they were making them and the benefit to me - which when stated made very good sense [saving me money and future headaches].
Post sale - so far they asked for pictures of my tractor as well as measurements and where my exhaust was located. Shipping details were clearly explained and what I should expect in the boxes.
Customer service going foward was also discussed and where I could get help.
A very good experience on my end and a job well done to Nicole for all the help and guidance.

"The lady I dealt with was GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The lady I dealt with was extremely nice and courteous. She made me aware of discounts available I didn't know about, and saved me a lot of money.
She knew what she was doing, and made sure I had every thing I needed.
I was replacing a 12 year old Cyclone commander I have now. It still works but needs some TLC and it made more sense to replace it, rather than put a lot of money into the old one. (See you again in another 12 years LOL.)

"No flexibility in shipping time"

My score is 4 of 5. I asked for a one week delay in shipping because I am in Arizona and won't return to Michigan for a week. My Woodland contact informed me that a delayed shipment is not allowed.
