"Very Professional about my refund !!"

I would just like to say that after uncle back agreed with the FOS about my refund. I have just spoken to Carol Mills in the customer relations department who has told me that my refund should be in my account within 7 days. After reading all the negative reviews I must say that throughout my process i have had nothing but politeness and professionalism. Thank you

Applied to reloan as had a loan 11 months ago and paid back monthly no issues at all. I reapplied online and got a call saying my card has failed a check so can I send them a copy of a statement. (I bank with Monzo) so I screen shot one but it was too old. I then send another one, I then get a call requesting for me to send a picture of my debit card and that’s all they need I send this, then gets a email saying they need to see my wages going in. I sent this, I now need to send them another bank statement again showing my full name and address which I have already sent. It’s a loan of £500 not £500000. As I say my first loan was very easy, the second loan which is still bouncing back and forwards is just a complete pain in the neck. Uncle buck I get you need to be secure but this is taking it to the extreme.

Uncle buck always come in handy when I’ve needed to borrow, I always borrow the same amount that I know I can afford to pay back and I always tend to pay back early which I don’t get punished for like other lenders do!

As expected, uncle buck are nit agreeing with the financial ombudsman and dragging it out even further.
Not only do they prey on the vulnerable but can’t even admit when they’ve lent irresponsibly (as decided by the FOS).

Apply for a loan after 2 previous loans and been declined 3 times since think the company is a joke ! Keep telling me try again in 30 days ! Don’t think so .... will take this to ombudsman for unaffordable previous loans

Ignoring recommendations from the FOS regarding irresponsible lending. Seems like a delay tactic. Avoid this company , As soon as there is an issue they don't reply.

complaint upheld by the financial ombudsman and offer made within line of the recommendation unfortunately two weeks have passed and still no contact let alone a refund which they agreed to. Emails have been ignored so this has brought me to leaving a bad review. Highly disappointed with the lack of communication and the fact it’s still being dragged on.

Good service from the onset with two paid up in time loans under my belt. Tried to get another- no go at all. Very disappointed. Especially as they sent me an e-mail after I had paid up my loan-saying `you could get a loan up to a £1,000' They do not value a good customer! I could understand if i been late with payments but not by even one day!I will not be borrowing from them again!

After almost 2 years I have finally got a settlement agreed after it going to the ombudsman! I’m waiting now for my refund. I will be happy to remove this review if I get my settlement quickly.
