"Killed my dog!!"

Killed my dog!!

Took a payday load from uncle buck as our family dog was at the vets and needed an emergency operation so we had a short fall. Received confirmation that the loan had been successful on Saturday and the money would be paid out in half hour increments. 3 days later and the money still hasn’t been paid out and our dog has subsequently had to be put down as he couldn’t wait any longer for the operation. Uncle buck killed our family dog.

"AVOID AVOID AVOID"

AVOID AVOID AVOID.
Was quoted one amount for resettlement, charge £100 more then told it was a mistake and refused refund or honouring the error. Rude managers make you feel like it’s your fault for not realise the quoted amount is wrong and a ‘did you not question why it was that amount’. Awful and extortionate. Pure greed and little respect or care for customers. Now to wait for a complaints department.

"Having recently lost my job"

Having recently lost my job, I was struggling to pay the loan. Whilst i accept i should have agreed a plan it was very difficult while keeping up with priority bills.

The sheer number of calls i received (which they say the machine caps at 6) i have had 7 today alone, along with an e mail. The manager was confident there was only 6 and refused to apologise for the situation i found myself in.

I was also told that stress and anxiety having nothing to with mental health.
I emailed them saying it was impacting my health and the manager again on the phone said id never sent this.

Think twice before taking out a loan with these. If you lose your job they will make your life hell.

"Service is terrible and had 9 nuisance…"

Service is terrible and had 9 nuisance phones call since. Totally and utterly an awful experience to try and get them to payout decided I would go without than unnecessary hassle from a company that does not trust you . Avoid at all costs.

"UncleBuck are by far the worst company…"

UncleBuck are by far the worst company to deal with in terms of complaint handling. They originally rejected my complaint, then they would not agree to a repayment plan. They kept on harrassing me until finally I had to borrow money from someone just to pay them. They then kept calling me again saying I owed more money them and then realised they had made an error. My complaint was then sent to the FOS who upheld and UncleBuck rejected and now it is in a queue for the ombudsman. They are rude and unprofessional and are happy to waste people's time!

"I used years ago when desperate"

I used years ago when desperate, I was then advised to raise a case with ombersman as view was inappropriate lending. The assessors at ombersman viewed in my favour and suggested a small refund, probably less than £200 which uncle Buck still refused and now case on hold again waiting for formal ombersman. They dont care about people or the fact that that my circumstances have now drastically changed and I'm off work caring for a terminally ill parent. To them dragging this out is a game, to me £200 would be a month without sleepless nights. Why cant they man up accept a decision as people lives aren't games.

Thank you for your reply, and I apologise if my understanding was incorrect, as you can imagine the last few months have been extremely distressing as perhaps I misunderstood. I received a follow up call from the adjudicator last week who advised that their recommendation was rejected and a figure of £16 was offered, they added than as I was disappointed the case would then be escalated. I hadn't appreciated that you had asked additional questions.

Your offer to chase this is greatly appreciated.
