"Worse experience of my life!"

Worse experience of my life. I was downgraded and I was told I will still be sleeping in a cabin with only 3 person but I ended up with a couple and a kid. I was looking foward to travel in a night train but the experienced turned out to be a nightmare. I hope some other companies will offer a different experience. European Sleeper is not for me but could be a good option for a much younger population looking for a moving hostel.

"The gap between their branding and the…"

The gap between their branding and the actual service is huge. The trains are visible old and in some carriages basic functions such as toilet flushing, light and electricity don't work. On my first trip, 2 weeks ago, I was simply downgraded because of a problem with the wagon. I am supposed to get a refund for the difference of the ticket, but I am still waiting for it. Also while booking there was a "mistake" and I was charged about 20€ more than declared. The company took about 1.5 months to refund that money.

In all fairness, the personal was always kind and did their best. The trains were on schedule.

"Late and very stingy"

Well you guys said, that you come an hour late, and than you came on time, which sucks, when you already planned, that everybody has to be there an hour later. The train left on time - and than - arrived 5 hours late in Amsterdam. 5 hours!!!! And all you want to give the travelleres is 20% off the next ticket. Plus you didn't even offer coffee or something for us on the train ... but let us buy everything. come on, sorry...

"Good option for longer trips "

The train was on time. The service people were attentive and super nice.

"A transcendental experience in time and space"

I definitely like riding a train while sleeping. It is the recovery of the romantic mindset to love the night in a special way. You have the illusion that you somehow live longer and get more out of the time you have on earth. In other words: It is a transcendental experience in time and space. Even with a delay it was an adventure.

van rotterdam naar brussel v.v. meegeweest voor een dagtrip, om eens te proberen. smorgens heen en savonds terug. prima reis gehad. mogelijk ging de trein op stukken harder dan de maximumsnelheid, maar ik vind het geweldig. Ook superleuk gesprek gevoerd met medereiziger.

"No recommendation"

I would not recommend this train. First of all European, sleeper seems to use outdated cars only. They have somehow renewed the compartments whilst the rest of the train, including they toilets, doesn't seem to have changed since the 1980s. Secondly, I do not see the point of buying a relatively expensive ticket if you arrive at your destination totally exhausted.

"A fun and sociable adventure"

The train departed on time and the compartments and washrooms were clean. Excellent clean bedding. Friendly and helpful staff. It's not luxurious, but was more or less what I expected. I found the top bed comfortable. A dining or buffet car would be a great addition, as we were on the train for 15 hours. If not, then a greater range of refreshments on sale.

"Train arrived 10 minutes late"

Train arrived 10 minutes late, we have been forced into the wrong wagon and sent in the wrong direction, we never reached our desinded area, however found two places to lay down, no one could tell us where to go, finally we stayed our places have been swapped, the company in the sleeping are great

"Not a good night's sleep "

I don't think the couchettes or toilets had been updated since the 1980s. The bunks were not very comfortable at all, especially if you were unlucky enough to get the middle bunk - which is basically the backrest of the seats lifted up.
