"Hidden pet costs with hotel"

I was searching specifically for pet friendly hotels and there were extra surprise nightly fees for my dog (and a huge deposit required) at the hotel that werent included in the booking process. I ended up paying $45 extra for having my dog with me for two nights. If I had known this upfront, I would have allocated this into a higher quality hotel experience overall.

He sorted my reservation within the hour. He tried to call me but I was on another call. He send me an email with everything I needed and communicated me again.
TRAVELURO has been so far GENUINE,CARING, and I feel so sorry for the negativity this agent has. I am very fair and strict to my reviews in general , but when a service as such from Carlos, I can only praise with an excellent review. I will let you know when my trip ends and I hope that everything will work as planned.

I booked the wrong date, cannot cancel but emailed them 3 days ago requesting helping change my dates, still not a peep from them
If I don't get response, I lose money without accommodation from 5 star hotel from my upcoming trip.
Very stressful waiting for traveluro to get back to me as I don't have accommodation booked for back up yet.

"Same as everyone else"

Same as everyone else. I tried for hours to get someone on the phone because i had purchased trip protection, had an emergency come up, and needed to cancel my trip without luck. So I called the hotel direct. The manager was fantastic and said she'd be happy to cancel with no fee, but needed Traveluro to call her to do so since I had booked through them. So I continued trying to get someone from traveluro on the phone, which took another hour (after around 15 minutes of bad hold music getting transferred to a line that just played loud beeps for several minutes before dropping you off the line. When i finally got someone on the phone, he refused to call the hotel even though the hotel manager said canceling with no fee was fine, he also refused to cancel, refused to transfer me to a manager or to the escalations department, refused to refund the trip protection, and then never was able to get anyone on the call after that. Do not ever use them.

Horrible customer service. They claimed they were fixing a problem , then emailed hours later saying there was nothing they could do. Lost all my money for the room. They won't answer emails or calls. DONT. JUST DONT!!!!!!
