Waiting almost 3 weeks for a delivery. Followed up by phone x 3 and email x 3 and still not delivered. Unable to provide the courier telephone number. Delayed updates on tracking system. Appalling service.

We have given GLS a few chances now and they still can’t deliver within the time frames advertised. All deliveries in Ireland are taking 5-7 working days when they state 1-2 working days.
Duffy’s express who deal with their parcels are a nightmare in Donegal and a big part of their problem I believe. Unless you want your business to get angry customers and negative reviews avoid GLS

Had to write a review as I'm stunned at what I have been told by GLS.
26.03.2025. Ordered a GLS courier via ParcelDirect on the 26.03.2025 to collect a small parcel going from a large Dublin subarb to Cavan on 27.03.25.
27.03. Driver never showed up but instead lied through his teeth on the tracking form that "The parcel pickup failed as there were no goods to be picked up." The parcel was ready the night before. I have cameras on the front of the premises with a live feed with a motion trigger to a laptop & smartphone at my workstation. I was there all day. There was no attempt to collect & the driver is blaming me.
I rang GLS & was told they would escalate it to the manager of the depot team & the courier would be out the next day 28.03.2025.
28.03. Driver never showed again. Called GLS & they said they would find out & call me back. No phone call.
Instead the driver lied yet again on the tracking form this time claiming "The parcel could not be picked up as the goods to be picked up were not packed." He then quickly changed his excuse to "The parcel pickup failed as there were no goods to be picked up." So which is it GLS. Either they weren't packed or they didn't exist. All lies, again.
Called GLS again. After waiting on hold for 55 minutes customer service finally answered only to be told they have no idea who the driver was, no idea where their own vans are, no guarantee the same thing won't happen again.
The clincher was they said their drivers do collections & drop-offs at the same time. Thats normal. I was then told if they don't have a drop-off in the area they are meant to be collecting your parcel from they simply might not go there to collect your parcel and that "the drivers don't have many options".
GLS are basically saying if you pay them its entirely optional whether they will uphold the contract & if you don't like it tough luck. I'm stunned this is their attitude & how they are still in business.

"Unsatisfactory to put it mildly"
Tracking not available aside from "parcel handed over to GLS" and then "parcel out for delivery". Parcels left in the street outside the building in all kinds of weather despite building being left accessible to facilitate delivery. Delayed deliveries. Parcels supposedly delivered but God only knows where.
I am writing this in the wake of their misdelivering yet another one of my orders. I live in a city and I have a straightforward address - house number, estate name, street name, city, eircode. To GLS deciphering that is rocket science, apparently.
I don't know why any business would choose them as their delivery partner - they make themselves look bad by association.
And to GLS - please do not bother responding with a request that I reach out to your CS support. I did. Never heard back. I will not be wasting any more of my time by trying to call. I have already requested a replacement order (hopefully you can get that one right) and I will leave it to the retailer to deal with you.
UPDATE: I did not hear a single word from GLS CS but my parcel was delivered by a very nice but rather frazzled looking driver today, on a Sunday, 30 March, at 9am which would have been 8am if not for the time change last night. He didn't know where my parcel ended up being delivered to on Thursday but said that GLS experienced some sort of a system error as a result of which some deliveries ended up in Galway, for example, instead of this area (south-east).
I have to wonder. Misdirected deliveries are a constant theme with GLS. It certainly wasn't the first time that my own parcel went where it shouldn't have. So either they suffer from regular system malfunctions, or this is just a PR stunt whereby they instructed their drivers to say the above in an attempt to cover their own shortcomings.

Wish I didn't have to give them any stars..they had package in the depot since 20th March..I emailed them,..also emailed Vendor who told me items were now lost..then GLS said this afternoon..delivery was made!..lies..I am here!..not the first time this shower has let me down, they are not interested in rural deliveries!

Looking at these reviews it defies belief that any reputable business uses GLS as a courier service. Over the last week I have been blatantly lied to, dismissed, lied to again about a package that they claim to have somehow 'misrouted' but according to them, it was finally delivered today except that it wasn't so more lies. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole if the choice were mine. The absolute worst courier service I have ever encountered. Never again.

"Failed to deliver parcel, still missing"
Parcel missing for past week. Numerous excuses that driver didn't have time to deliver, operational issues at local depot, etc. No tracking information available. Terrible service.

Why are companies using these guys? Poor service and don't even bother trying to talk to someone. An hour and a half later I just gave up
