"Excellent communication with the Call…"

Excellent communication with the Call Centre and Depot. On a few occasions I wasn't present to accept a delivery so I phoned/emailed the Call centre or Depot. Calls and emails were answered promptly and delivery instructions were correctly relayed to the driver.

"Excellent service"

Excellent service. I wasn't at home when the delivery was made but the driver phoned me to confirm where I wanted the parcel left. The driver and the gentleman who dealt with my query when beyond what was required of them.

"GLS doesn't care about disabled people- use DPD instead"

17/11- driver called, I was not able to pick up the phone, when I returned the call less than 2 minutes later, the driver had already left. I was sent a text message to say leave delivery instructions via text. I did. Was told to contact customer service as the driver refused to enter the apartment building.
17/11- spoke to customer service at GLS was told that the drivers are allowed to enter an apartment building, explained I am disabled and cannot use stairs without assistance and I live on the second floor with no lift. Customer Service rep I spoke to said that was not a problem, and the driver would deliver the next day.
18/11- no delivery by 4:30, called into GLS again, was told that the driver had the package in route, and would probably show up before 6pm.
That was the last I heard from GL.

On November 20, I sent an email with all the above to GLS customer service and all I received was the generic message that my complaint was received "Case #00021845: "Complaint" has been created and a GLS Ireland Customer Service Agent will respond to you shortly. "

Again, nothing, so sent another message on 28/11. Again nothing. It is currently 30/11, and I have still heard nothing from GLS.

GLS ignores its customers.

"Would love to give 5 stars"

Would love to give 5 stars, however, my delivery was due on the 24th and I was advised on the 24th it would arrive that day, the 25th it would arrive, and twice on the 26th I was assured it was arrive. It didn't arrive until the 29th. However, the customer service agents were lovely and professional on the phone. They were super friendly and apologetic so it made the whole ordeal much better!

"Excellent service"

Excellent service from both the driver & the lady in the main office when I rang. The driver kindly dropped my parcel to my neighbour. When I rang to see where my parcel was (not knowing that it was with my neighbour at the time - I had just got an email to say it was delivered), the lady in the office checked with my local office & driver & kindly rang me back within a few minutes to let me know where it was. I was really impressed with this service.
