"What a terrible company"
What a terrible company. A parcel we were waiting on for Christmas arrived in GLS Dublin on 14th of December and was only delivered on the 29th. 2 weeks to drop a parcel from one part of Dublin to another is simply not acceptable. We had to make alternative arrangements at the last minute for my sons Christmas present when it became obvious that these jokers were going to let us down. If I could give no stars I would

"Horrible experience"
Horrible experience, my order was to be delivered before Christmas, with no warning or apology GLS had my parcel at their office from 22nd - 29th. This was meant to be a Christmas gift. How do you guarantee a delivery before Christmas and hold the parcel till almost the new year? No one should have to go through this. Do not use GLS.

Nice customer service 9am to 5pm monday - friday
Service desk should be open same hours as delivery drivers though. If i had a point of contact at 7.30pm, then it would have been easy to rectify the drivers mistake but had to wait until 9am the following morning.
I suggest that you hire two extra part time staff to man the phones from 5pm to 8.30pm

-EMAIL ME AM TO SAY MY PARCEL WILL BE DELIVERED TODAY. NO TIME FRAME AND IT WAS 7.30PM BY THE TIME DRIVER MARKED MY NON DELIVERED ITEM AS DELIVERED
-Fake delivery updates- my parcel
was not delivered and marked as delivered in track + trace
-drivers dont knock the door
-drivers dont get a signature or verify the identity of recipient.
-driver didnt respond to tell me exactly where he left parcel. Gls company policy is 3 days and he didnt respond or call me back within that time frame. IMAGINE IF YOU HAVE A VALUABLE PACKAGE SITTING SOMEWHERE FOR 3 DAYS BEFORE THE DRIVER HAS TO RESPOND
-customer must do all the leg work trying to find missing parcel
-Drivers ar liable to drop your delivery to any property in the area. Its common practice. That was probably ok in the 80s and 90s but times have changed
They simply dont care

Probably one of the worst courier services in Ireland. My parcel was supposed to arrive on 21st of December. Its the 23rd now and its still not delivered, emailed twice - no answers. Called 3times - nobody picked up. Shop app doesnt provide their locations on GPS and the "shipping details" provided are a joke. This is the first time I have had to deal with such abomination of a service and my hopes of getting my delivery until christmas are gone. Will have to look out for GLS in the future when online shopping and choose something else. God awful.
EDIT: suddenly got an automatic reply to my email, will see where this goes.

I've been waiting 7 days for a package that was meant to come within 4 max I understand it's busy because of Christmas but I'm doubtful that it's going to arrive before Christmas as my package has even been scanned yet.

"Terrible service"
Terrible service - or lack thereof. Four days waiting for a package to be collected and it has not been. Multiple phone calls, lots of apologies but still not a collection. Will never use them again.

In the chaotic times that's pre Xmas deliveries in mid Dec, Ian of CS helped to set everything right with great follow up and prompt updates following a supposedly failed delivery the day before. Very helpful but 4stars as due to delivery guys mix up, we had to go collect the parcel from another town where it was left in "a safe place" - not mine by any means, by a lost driver! CS excellent but can't say the same for the delivery folks. By the way, do clear your full voice mailbox as I could not leave a message for a call back.

Great delivery service. The driver was very polite and ensured that the addresee lived here before handing over the parcel, Unlike dpd who leave the package outside unknown to the house holder. He also drove and parked the van correctly unlike your competitors destroying the grass verge outside. So very very happy. Gls all the way💪💪🙏👍

"Great service in Blarney depot"
Great service in Blarney depot. Went twice so far to post several large moving boxes, there was always someone helping with them, tagging and generally advising. Super helpful team, very friendly and also tolerant to my toddler in tow! Highly recommended
