GLS is the worst shipping provider.

I selected GLS for shipping because it showed that the delivery would take 4 days whereas other companies showed 5 days. GLS was also 1.8X expensive.

The package came damaged after 10 days. The seller agreed to give a replacement. The seller recalled the package through GLS again and now they are not picking it up in 7 days. Worst shipping company, and I would not recommend it.

They finally picked up the package on the 8th day. I hope the delay is just for the Christmas period and not a regular event. I will change my rating if they deliver the package in time.

"GLS not good enough"

27/11/23 my package was handed to GLS, (all from their website). It's now 3pm on December 2nd and not yet delivered to me. I have cancelled future orders from my retail supplier until they change couriers.

"Disappointing experience"

Really disappointed with the service from both this logistics company and the seller. seller sent shipping confirmation on 23.11, GLS tracking says it’s not yet been handed over so no further tracking. Seller advises ‘this can happen and to wait 2 weeks’ and despite 2 emails to GLS I am yet to receive any response. Not sure even a ‘we’ve received your message and will get back to you’

"Dreadful company"

I had a very expensive item sent from abroad to my house in Ireland, and when I checked website with tracking number it said it was delivered at 930 am this morning. And as I was standing in my house I knew damm well it wasn't here, I them checked all my neighbors: no parcel anywhere. And then phoned and spoke to a nice girl who told me it was dropped off as a local coffee shop!!! This was outrageous as I did not give permission for the parcel to be dropped anywhere other than my house due to its high value. I'm the worst thing of all about the whole situation the driver not only dropped it to a random shop in the town without permission, No phone call from driver!!! But he didn't even bother his ass to put a note through my letterbox telling me where it was. I will never use GLS And I told the people who sent me the item and they were no longer use GLS the worst courier company I've ever had the misfortune to come across.
I only use and recommend DPD . And within Ireland you won't find better than Roaddog couriers they are The example to all!

"AVOID THIS COMPANY"

Parcel handed to gls and updated by gls. Tracking not updated since it was handed over. No updates for 5 days. Company has advised I need to wait a few more days for the items to be declared "missing". Company I bought from won't refund shipping. Item I purchased was an add on for a quad lock set up which I didn't realise I needed until my first quad lock order arrived! Cannot attach my phone without the item that's missing in the hands of GLS. Have been told I will need to order the item again. Pay full price and not the black Friday sale price I had originally got!!! And I need to pay for shipping again!!!!! DO NOT USE GLS! I WILL BOYCOTT ANY COMPANY WHO USES YOU.

"Dismal delivery service."

Recently bought a fairly expensive product from a company who used GLS to deliver it.

The package was delivered earlier today. Except no care was taken in how it was delivered. My front porch was unlocked, and I was in my residence all day. The courier driver never knocked once. They simply walked right up and planted the parcel onto my bin. And left. They didn't even discreetly put it behind the bins.

Absolutely nuts for a driver to do that. I'll be contacting the company as well to let them know.

"Shocking Company"

Shocking. Their customer support team is so rude and they actually display on their website that their Trustpilot reviews are 3.9 when in fact its much lower.

They never update the GLS tracker and the amount of times I have seen their drivers chuck stuff on the ground outside my door is incredible.

"What a joke"

What a joke, I sent a package to a friend overseas, got told it was 'undelivered' and now it's being dropped off to a random location? Unbelievable!!!
