"Cheap rubbish - having difficulty returning."

Sent me painted steel item they were marketing as brass. Cheap rubbish.

I have now been talking them to a week trying to get a return/refund- fingers crossed.

"Very Poor Customer Service and Refund Process"

I recently bought 4 sets of 4 plates from Cox and Cox and 1 of the 16 plates arrived damaged. The communication to try to get a replacement or an appropriate refund has been incredibly laborious. I've been shocked by how much resource they have put into trying to avoid giving me a very simple and small refund - which must have cost them more in service administration than the refund itself. Once they finally agreed to refund the item, the refund that I received was even less than the amount they said they would refund. The communications have been so appaulling that I can not be bothered to get in touch with them again about it. I'm not sure I've ever left an online review before but this experience has inspired me to do so. Previous purchases from Cox and Cox have been incredibly delayed in terms of delivery too. I do like their products but they are vey over-priced for what they are and I've only ever bought items in their sales. I will reconsider even doing this in the future.

"Absolutely amazing!!"

I can’t thank Jenna enough for the help she gave with one of two trees I purchased that was unfortunately damaged.
I had previously bought two for myself and my daughter and bought another two as they really are beautiful!
Everything cox & cox sell are stunning!
Jenna was so lovely and so professional and was very generous and ordered me another tree which arrived in perfect condition
The customer service I received from Jenna was amazing and she always replied promptly to messages and she was so lovely in her replies
I recommend anyone to purchase from cox & cox and I look forward to placing my next order x

"This company has taken over £1000 from…"

This company has taken over £1000 from us for furniture and lights we ordered back in 2024. No furniture or lights have been delivered and they have not paid back our money either. We are now going to have to apply to the County Court for a judgement against them to get our money back.
How they are still allowed to be trading is beyond comprehension as this seems to be a very similar experience as many of their other customers have had or are experiencing. Obviously I have resentfully had to give 1 star in order to leave this review. Please do not make the same mistake as us...do not touch with a barge pole!

"What a mess up"


I placed an order at 10am on Monday for two items and paid £8.50 for next day delivery. The order was not processed and I sent two emails Monday that were not answered and then rang customer service. I was reassured that order was just being quality checked and I would receive delivery notification from their courier that evening. Nothing, so I had to ring again Tuesday and was told that it was definitely arriving by Wednesday and I would get notified in the morning. It is Wednesday afternoon and still waiting for notification of my delivery?
Whilst the customer service team was polite, I felt that they really didn’t give consistent reasons for the delay and we went around in circles. I was given false reassurances each time I made contact.
This was my second order with the company that has been messed up and I’m really disappointed. I would rather be told straight that my delivery wouldn’t arrive in a reasonable time scale and be offered a refund or appropriate compensation. They sent me a voucher code for £8.50 that had to be used in 48 hrs which is their way of getting me to place yet another order a few days after my initial unfulfilled order? I feel the compensation was rather unfair and not comparative to the hassle and inconvenience I have experienced.

The customer service was very helpful and answered all my queries. I had placed an order but several days later had not received a confirmation email which made me concerned. Zie Hayat was very reassuring and sent me all the details I wanted regarding my order.

"Missing item and no communication"

I placed an order and paid extra for next day delivery on Tuesday 4th of Feb. I received an order confirmation at the time but have heard nothing since. The tracking function on the website does not work and my queries to the customer services email address have not been answered.
