"Mobile Check Deposit"

I’m extremely disappointed with Bluevine’s mobile deposit process when issues arise. We’ve used multiple banks Mobile Deposits without issues, yet Bluevine—being a digital-first bank—doesn't have any solutions when something does happen.

A recent deposit kept getting a “can’t verify check” error, despite the check being clearly printed and valid. Instead of considering an issue with their app or system, customer service repeatedly blamed the check itself, offering the same generic, repetitive solutions before ultimately telling me to request a new one or ask the client to send ACH. When I asked how they’d prevent this in the future, I got vague assurances but no real solution.

As a business, we can’t afford unreliable banking. Since Bluevine failed to resolve this, we’ll be looking for a new bank. This experience has been unacceptable.

"Makes business checking very difficult "

I had previously reviewed BlueVine and was then asked by them for the opportunity to fix the error and have me take down my negative review. I agreed, and for about three weeks, things seemed fine. But that didn’t last.

For an online bank with no brick-and-mortar locations to be useful, they need to offer something that makes banking easier. My experience has been the exact opposite. BlueVine has continuously limited my business banking and made it extremely difficult to conduct business. I have two business accounts with them and have now hit a wall with their customer service.

I’ve attempted to deposit a check ten different times, and every single time, it’s been rejected. I called customer service and was given the usual excuses—reposition the check, take better pictures, numbers aren’t readable, etc. So I took studio-quality pictures, called BlueVine to confirm all the numbers, and was told there would be no issues. Yet the deposit was still rejected. I even had the check rewritten, changed amounts, tried a different check—still rejected. Frustrated, I decided to deposit it using another bank’s online mobile deposit, and it cleared with **no problems** through my **US Bank** account.

I have called, texted, and emailed, yet I still haven’t been able to fix the issue. Customer service talks over me and repeats the same scripted responses over and over. One agent even told me the check had "too much paper" on it—whatever that means? At this point, I will be taking all my business banking elsewhere. BlueVine has proven to be problematic with no intention of fixing these issues.
