"Purchased a Zanussi Dehumidifier via…"

Purchased a Zanussi Dehumidifier via Amazon from Utek Appliance on 27 Nov 2022 and the expected delivery date was 5 - 7 Dec 2022. Until the afternoon of the very last day 7 Dec, they sent an e-mail via Amazon that there has been no update from DPD (the courier) and hence they believe the order was misplaced in transit. There was no stock for replacement and hence only can refund. I really doubt if they were taking order while there is no more stock. I was in need of the dehumidifier but only been told it was not coming after more than a week! Think twice if you are planning to place order to this company.

I had an excellent experience with Utek Appliances. Delivery was quick and my ovens arrived in perfect condition.

Great item, brilliant price, staff manning the webchat were really helpful and the delivery driver was fantastic.

The payment system doesn't accept Chase banking, but rather than clearly stating that it just empties the basket or throws weird auth errors depending on which browser/device you're using, so I had a couple of very frustrating days trying to figure that out and emailing but not getting much help; however, once I got on the webchat they quickly confirmed I had to use a different payment method and it went through fine.

There was a bit of a delay with the delivery which I was quickly informed about via email, and although I had to chase after about a week to find out what was happening, I did get a call back pretty much immediately and the ETA they gave me was very accurate.

Overall would recommend, prehaps double check delivery ETA first if you need the product urgently though :)
