"OK but takes effort and organisation to get the most out of your day"
Trails are OK but there's alot to figure out if you've not been before. Some trails have a ride to the start and finish a good way from the uplift so not worth doing if you only have one day (Boomslang into 50 Shades has about 10 mins of commute!).
Trail info and signage needs to improve. Some blacks are rough and rocky, others have comitting blind jumps - there's nothing to indicate what you're about to ride. Blues are often long and flat, much closer to a green in other parks, so you'll regret it on a DH bike!
Car park is disorganised. Could do with people directing traffic and putting signs up once areas are full.
Cafe busy at peak times and the outside coffee hut wasn't open when we were signing on and only one person working on inside coffee machine. Obviously not the end of the world but you're likely to miss a run or two if you're wanting breakfast at the cafe.
Edit based on below response:
- we rode Friday and Saturday. Car park was awful both days and no staff were directing either day.
- shack was open during the day, but not during sign on.

"Neuro-virus suddenly, reschedule refused."
We visited Wales last weekend again, like we do at least 4 times a year, and always tend to ride BPW. When in Afan, we had 2 of us fall sick to a terrible neuro-virus which put us out of action during the night before our visit to the park, and was up most of the night.
I then decided it wasn't fair to ride and thinking of your staff, felt it was unfair of my friend to use the facilities there in the state he was in spreading it, so called it best of us not to attend.
One of the party who attended again, mentioned this to the front desk lad who informed him, he'd speak to his supervisor but seeing it was very busy would most likely upsell our uplifts. I also sent an email as per instructions but received two back saying, we agreed to the terms of the conditions of zero cancellation before 48hrs notice.
I understand exactly what it takes running a business where terms and conditions are set, although 18 of us over two days, a large club of mostly regular attended riders to the park, spending over £50+ each a time, and was point blank refused a reschedule whilst actually putting your staff first on a quite horrible bug which has now wiped out 3 of us for 4 days, is quite disappointing to be honest.
Not really the best way to treat a regular customer to the area and BPW.

"Decided not to visit due to having a…"
Decided not to visit due to having a virus and not wanting to spread my germs to others on the uplift. My friend spoke to receptionist who advised given the situation moving my booking to another date would be possible. After making contact with the booking team told 100% not possible within 48hours of booking. Terrible customer service as I'm sure bike park wales would still of sold my spot on the day to a pedal up customer. Not the best way to treat a frequent customer

"Decent Workshop"
The quality of the trails is second to none.
Had a breakdown and the team in the workshop got the bike fixed quickly and cheaply.

"Had my first trip to BPW on 11/5/24"
Had my first trip to BPW on 11/5/24, the weather was glorious, uplift drivers were all really helpful with me being a newb, trails are the best I've ever ridden.
My only small pointer I'd say for BPW is have more water filling stations up the hill, it was so hot on Saturday and being able to fill up water bottles etc at the top would have been really useful.
Thanks for a great day, can't wait to return!

"Great fun in all weathers"
I came the day the dry spell ended, and it rained heavily all day. But this place has such great all weather facilities that it made little difference to the fun factor. I loved the new section of A470 - that qualifying jump means that only riders with appropriate skills and confidence will be on the trail. Also loved the revamped Locomotion. I’d not really tried the black runs before, but they were suitably knarly making them super good fun to ride, and scary enough for a nice adrenaline hit.
Keep up the good work. I’ll be back real soon.
