"Our camper van was perfect!"

The process to rent the camper van was easy. There were no hidden fees or other surprises. The information provided about traveling in Iceland was beneficial and useful. The vehicle provided was powerful, and well-organized. The mattress was comfortable, and the sleeping bags were warm, the pillows fluffy. We used the heater most of the nights we were out there; it requires that you hook up to electricity, but it was worth it. The electric cooler that was provided was okay, but it couldn't be run except when we hooked up to electricity. The only thing that drove me nuts was that there was no cup holder big enough to hold the sodas or drinks we had. It's a small thing, though. Rent.is did a good job.

Plötzlich geht gar nichts mehr. Nur Fehlermeldungen.
Auf meine Kritik schmeißt mich Herr Fischer einfach raus. Unmöglich dieses Unternehmen.

"Mezzi scadenti e poco affidabili"

Abbiamo noleggiato un Fiat Doblo dal 31.07 al 09.08. Mi è stato consegnato con il parabrezza davanti scheggiato per una grandezza di circa una noce, con tanto di pellicola incollata sopra per non far allargare la crepa e si trovava proprio davanti a me ad altezza viso. Inizialmente non ci ho dato peso ma potete immaginare come è stato guidarci per 10 giorni. Nei giorni in cui ha piovuto forte, è entrata acqua dal tettuccio nella zona letto e ci siamo ritrovati una parte di materasso bagnata. Al check in abbiamo dovuto fare un'assicurazione supplementare perché la mia carta di credito non arriva a coprire i 3000€ di caparra. Va benissimo, errore mio, però poi non mi vieni a chiedere 5000 corone perché ho bucato una gomma l'ultimo giorno. Oltretutto nessuno si è degnato di chiedermi se fosse andato tutto bene, se avevo reclami.
Peccato, è stata l'unica pecca di questa stupenda vacanza in Islanda.

"Condescending agent; car not fully working"

We booked a campervan for 2 (VW Caddy Camper) and came after midnight to pick it up. The agent at the rent.is was rude, condescending and not helpful at all. After driving the van for about 10 min, we found out that the Bluetooth on the radio wasn't working so we drove back. Although we paid for fully functioned car, he refused to change the car and started changing the subject accusing us of not knowing how to drive manual car (I drive only manual at home). No compensation was offered either. No effort to acknowledge that the fault is on their side. Now we're driving with no Bluetooth, can't listen to our fav music and enjoy this trip fully. I rarely write reviews but I had to this time.

Good camper condition. But the power inverter cannot be used. It may be due to the battery insider the car is too old to have its well-function. Waste some money on its rental.

The camper was easy to book, well equipped and the pick up was great. Only paying online didn’t work, however we could easily pay on site while picking up the camper. All in all a great experience!

Sehr mangelhaft. Fahrzeug teuer und unbrauchbar. Kocher defekt, Reifen schlecht, Betten eine Zumutung und Wassereinbruch. Finger weg, von diesem Vermieter.

SCAMMERS! RENT.IS SCAMMED US FOR $13,000.

My friends and I were trapped in a remote location after our van was no longer functional. RENT.IS charged us over $13,000 to deliver a replacement vehicle, citing that this is their policy, to charge the full amount that an engine repair would cost. However, we were able to start the car and know there was no damage to the engine. After a month this company has stopped responding to messages, even though they insisted that we would get most of the money back once they had the final cost of repair sorted.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE DISHONEST. THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF US WHEN WE WERE STRANDED AND HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY $13,000.

"Two weeks round trip with Rent.is"

Very good service and express pickup form the air port, good coffe in the office in the early morning. No problem during renting, no problem to get any extra equipment. Very good car for the road conditions - 4x4 Toyota Hilux make a job in the interior roads. Comfortable vehicle for driving and sleeping purposes.
Return of the car very smooth and pleasant. Best value for the money. Thanks a lot for the service and support.
