I am a little behind in getting started. Mainly because I am trying to stay afloat amongst ALL OF THE EMAILS. Way too many.

I truly enjoyed the challenge of the Proofread Anywhere course. I gained new skills and resources to add to my repertoire. I liked the self-paced course PA created and the opportunity to discuss issues and items of interest with fellow students on the Facebook page. If you want to improve your skills as a proofreader, Proofread Anywhere will provide you with the tools to succeed.

"The course was easy to follow"

The course was easy to follow, direct and clear. While proofreading comes naturally to me, I learned a lot of things I didn't know before. There are some areas where I am reading the training but then I'm looking up what is pertinent to me, such as tax requirements in my country, or who is the best webhost for me.

My journey with Proofread Anywhere has been incredible; in fact, I really didn't want this course to end. I had too much fun going through all of the step-by-step lessons and practice exercises and was pleasantly surprised by the more challenging ones. In addition to helping you expand your knowledge in grammar and punctuation, this self-paced course will teach you everything you need to know to start out on your own. It is a very comprehensive learning experience and was put together well, and if you think there's any such thing as a proofreading course that cannot challenge you, I would advise you to think again!

Although I am still apprehensive about this new adventure and therefore am only able to take one baby step at a time, this course has given me the confidence I need to take those tiny steps and has made me feel good about entering the proofreading world on my own. It came at the right time in my life, and even my significant other has noticed how confident I look, sound, and feel. With all of that said, if you want to learn more about grammar and punctuation, I would recommend this course. But if you want to learn more about grammar and punctuation and then turn it into your lifestyle, I would HIGHLY recommend this course. Just be sure to get very clear with yourself about what you want before you take the plunge, and be ready to put in the work. If you choose to move your life forward with Proofread Anywhere, you can take comfort in the fact that you will be guided every step of the way. :)

I love the easy, straightforward, bite-sized lessons! This course is great for people with busy lifestyles. I'm learning things my grammar patrol self didn't know!

"Motivating and Valuable Experience"

The course design was straight-forward and the directions were clear. The videos were motivating and the practice essays prepared me for the final exam, which was graded promptly. Even though I already knew a lot about grammar, I realized there was a lot more I could still learn (especially about the Chicago Manual of Style). I also found the modules about how to market your skills and how to get paid as a proofreader super helpful as well. Highly recommend!

"Easy to Learn"

I'm happy that l'm able to read the lessons prior to viewing them, a welcome innovation. The relaxed, friendly tone contributes to the ease of learning. My biggest hurdle will be learning how to use the editing tools on Word. I am looking forward to achieving proficiency just as easily. I am optimistic about using proofreading as a means to a more affluent lifestyle.

I’ve made it all the way to the practice quizzes. These were intimidating at first, but once I read on, they were easier to find the mistakes.
