I have read previous negative reviews and unfortunately am having the same problem. We had to cancel a booking made through Host and Stay. They agreed to provide a refund and I am still chasing that refund six weeks later. I get fobbed off every time I contact them, being told that they're chasing the finance team for an update and will get back to me, but never do. I'd asked for this to be escalated as a complaint but they didn't respond to that telling me how. Have now emailed the owner to escalate. Absolutely dreadful service from Host and Stay. No idea what the property was like, but would NEVER book through them again. AVOID!!

The holiday home was fantastic private parking, secure. The home was clean and extremely tidy with every facility you would need. The space is fantastic, the beds are comfortable and clean.
We will definitely be coming again

"Perfect place to stay!"

We’ve stayed at Sleepers at No 8 several times now and the reason we keep going back speaks for itself! The apartment is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and so comfortable. It’s situated in Pickering which is an amazing place anyway but it’s so close to the north York moors and the north east coast which are our favourite places. We will definitely be going back! Xx

"Scammed my credit card"

If I could give minus stars I would. Booked through these guys. They contacted me on a mobile thats a scam alert. I asked them why and I froze my card the moment I unfroze it fraudulent payments were appearing. Absolutely these guys and to add insult they are attempting to charge me a cancellation fee. my card had to be cancelled and these guys are dodgy

Booked a cottage which was cancelled by the host, leaving us without accommodation for our weekend away. It’s been 2 months and still haven’t been refunded the £620. Keep receiving the same generic message of ‘your refund is a priority, we will provide a comprehensive update soon’. It’s on air BnB- all they have to do is hit cancel and it will automatically be refunded. Terrible service.

Great communication, made our break really easy by providing loads of information before we arrived so we were all prepared.

"What a delightful bungalow"

What a delightful bungalow! We felt at home as soon as we walked in.
Our dog loved the garden, was very enclosed and private.
Wells was just a 10 minute walk in with some great shops, pubs and restaurants (we highly recommend The Globe)
The beach and woods at Wells were perfect for walks.
Would definately book again.
