"Lovely property"

Lovely property, although it would benefit from having a TV in the dining room as not enough space for 6 people to sit comfortably in the living room. The second double bedroom was extremely small. Only 1 toilet roll left for 4 people

"Easily interacted with"

Easily interacted with. Cottage was nice and peaceful. Clean and tidy. The evening were cold and it heated very well. Great base for the peaks.

The accommodation was perfectly placed, great little touches like umbrellas etc by the door (thankfully not needed)

"Fabulous Stay….."

Our stay at Harbour Holm ,Amble was fantastic! The property was generously equipped with everything you need and more. Comfortable, immaculately clean and in the best position just facing the beautiful town square for easy access to restaurants, cafes, walking and the harbour.
We were thrilled to stay there and thank the host very much. My first time using Air B and B but we would love to stay at this house again.

The team at were professional, friendly, quick to respond to emails, and made the booking in process for our short break in Cartmel extremely easy. The online guest guide was fab.

Lovely clean apartment, just perfect for our party of 3, we loved it!!
Spotless, beds & bedding gorgeous, honestly we were very pleased with everything. Very central to shops, bars & restaurants 10/10 5 stars from us

"Potentially great property but let down by being so dirty "

We stayed at what could have been a lovely Property in Northumberland .The owner had replaced both bathrooms and it had nice soft furnishings and curtains .The property owners were let down by the appalling way the property was prepared for guests and managed .The property was extremely cold on arrival and on inspection really really dirty and the fire safety needs improving to comply with the legal requirements .I did try to sort the problems with Host and Stay but everything takes so long .I was only away on holiday 7 days and i am still awaiting a response to
my complaint ( it’s 10 days 6 working so far ).Any problems need sorting much quicker .I suspect they just hope customers go home and give up waiting for a response .I am totally disappointed with my experience of Host and Stay

Very well appointed apartment with everything for your stay ie tea coffee sugar milk all utensils and much more for a self catering very comfy beds light and airy would definitely stay here again.

"Great place with lots of space"

Great place with lots of space. Ideal for us as a family bringing 12 people along. Nice comfortable beds and nice decor, if slightly marked in places. Located in a central place ideal for the beautiful sights of Scarborough. The only down side was the cleanliness, the carpets were not vacuumed very well if not at all on the top floor, there was a bin not emptied in the downstairs toilet and this had a soiled nappy in. And under the beds really need a clean, really dirty under there. Would have been 5 stars if it was cleaner.
