"Very clean and spacious flat"

Very clean and spacious flat. Well equipped. Very central to amenities. Only problem was host and Stay took too much money from my payment card.

Avoid at all costs!!!
Cancelled our trip that was booked nearly a year in advance ( to save costs).
Offered no alternative & left us paying double due to 4 weeks till British gymnastics championships in Liverpool.
Took the payment from account two days before cancelling trip & decided to help themselves to an extra £126 on top of £370.

Still no refund & not replying to messages , currently escalating the issue with booking.com

"Never disappoint "

I have always used host and stay over the last 4 years when staying in saltburn. The quality of the properties have never let us down. The experience start to finish is seamless and i could not recommend them enough.

"Made a booking for two nights"

Made a booking for two nights, and later checked with the team about the step free access because of my disabilities. They mentioned it doesn't have a step free access and it would be better to cancel. Since that day (6days before the checking date) I contacted both host and stay and booking.com requesting a no penalty cancellation, but both kept on referring eachother, without actually helping me, and at the end charged me for full 2 nights, without me being their at all.

"Excellent location in city"

The apartment had all facilities we wanted and was perfectly located near Vine Court to visit my daughter at Uni.

2nd time we've stayed here and will definitely come back. Feels like a home away from home, everything is clean and fresh and it's very spacious for us (4 adults and 2 cocker spaniels) with 2 living areas to choose from. Looking forward to coming back in the summer with better weather

We had a brilliant stay, the holiday homes was beautiful, well equipped the welcome sign was a lovely touch

"Really nice place but….."

The place is really nice but we had a few issues. First impressions were three pleasant lamps at the front of the house with one knocked over on the floor. The place was freezing and on arrival we had no heating and hot water, however when I called host and stay the maintenance guy arrived really fast and the problem was solved. The annoying part was it’s apparently a known problem! The showers are really hard to turn on mechanically, there’s obviously an issue with them as they are all the same type. The place appears clean on first sight but you soon notice it could do with a good clean, the top bathroom wooden beams have thick dust on them. As I’ve said the place is really nice and we did enjoy our stay there, plus it’s located great, it just needs some love.
