"Lovely apartment in an excellent…"

Lovely apartment in an excellent location, as long as you are fit enough to climb the 199 steps. Stunning views. I stayed with partner, 2 kids and a dog and we all had a great time ☺️

"Very good apartment"

Very good apartment, well equipped, good service from the owner / manager, great location. Just a couple of issues that I think need mentioning, this is not intended to be detrimental to the apartment, you will enjoy it if you book it!

1. The shower unit on the ground (entrance) floor needs replacing, the left side door was hanging off when we arrived, not sure if this was from the previous booking or if it needs repairing but it definitely requires fixing or replacing.

2. The previous day before arrival, I received a message indicating that the apartment would be free the following day from 11am. Reading further I expected the message to indicate that we could arrive early if we wished which would have been useful, and we could, but for this early entry the owner wanted a further £30.00. Needless to write I did not accept the offer. In my opinion this would have generated a more positive opinion of the owner if the charge had not been an addition. After all, there was no further cost and the apartment was free at that time. Good will goes a long way!

"Fantastic venue!"

Fantastic venue!! Would return! Comes really well equipped. Beautifully decorated very modern. Suitable for male or female as it’s neutrally decorated. Hosts were really helpful with any issues I had and kept in touch. Checking in was super easy (via a code you put in) which is ideal with large parties as people can come and go as they please

"I would advise caution when booking…"

I would advise caution when booking with this company. My accommodation in Liverpool was canceled just four weeks before our stay due to issues with the landlord. Although they offered an alternative, it did not meet my requirements. After waiting several days, I chose to cancel and book with another provider. However, the refund process has been frustrating. Despite paying £580 in full on January 5th, I have yet to receive my refund. Host & Stay claims it will take up to 20 working days to process the refund, with an additional 3-5 days for the funds to appear in my bank account. It has now been over two months, and despite numerous follow-ups, their response has been unhelpful, simply reiterating their refund policy. Given this experience, I strongly recommend considering other options before booking with Host & Stay.

"Great place. Terrible Customer service."

Place I stayed at was great. The customer service is probably the worst I’ve ever experienced.

I needed my receipt to be broken up in the first 30 days and the couple weeks following(for work). Pretty simple request that I’ve never had an issue of a company doing before.

I called 5 times over 2 weeks and was told my problem would be resolved within a day or two. The “customer experience manager” or something along those lines told me I would receive a call from her the next day and she never called. Her excuse for blowing off a customer that had already paid in full for a 6 week stay was “it was busy”. She then refused to email or call following up about the issue or even a “hey we’re not going to elevate this any higher” because I had requested a manager about my experience.

"Comfy"

Comfy, warm stay with good facilities. Comfortable beds, good shower, well equipped kitchen and parking with rear access. Couldn’t have done better for the value.
