"Great but with one fault."

My hearing aids are 2 and a half years old. They make such a difference that it still amazes me when I put them on or remove them. The reason I chose 4 stars over 5 is that the Bluetooth feature needs work. I can lose connection just putting my phone in my pocket. Having a full strength new battery helps but there is much room for improvement.

"Spent over 4,000.00 on hearing aids…did appointment"

Spent over 4,000.00 on hearing aids very disappointed. After several adjustments I still can’t hear very well. It’s frustrating and embarrassing. I’ve been told I need new hearing aids another 4,000.00 don’t think I’ll be getting them. May try another brand.

"Need help with my Hearing Aids"

I'm a 90 Percent Service Connected Disabled Veteran. I received my hearing aids from the VA Clinic in Harlingen TX. My hearing aids work ok for calls on my cell phone, one on one conversations and I have an adapter that connected to the TV. Where I do have problems with my hearing aids is at meetings, church, public gatherings, at the movies. It would be nice to have hearing aids that will work well with every type of environment that I encounter on a daily basis.

I just returned my Starkey hearing aids to the V.A. Hearing clinic. The tech checked them, and said they needed to go back to the factory.
It was a very insidious failure. They slowly faded and reduced amplification. The signals and bells continued to work, which led me to believe my hearing was getting worse. However, when the hearing aids hit rock bottom, I tried an older back up set, that I purchased through my Blue Cross insurance. WOW, my hearing returned.
The V.A. hearing aids will be three years old this December. I had them back one other time for the molded ear piece problem.

I have the Starkey halo 2 I 2400 hearing aids. I have moderate low frequency hearing loss. My audiologist has tried to adjust them to the best of her ability but I am still having problems hearing. I know that my low frequency hearing loss is hard to correct but I wish there was more research on low frequency hearing loss.

First: I have been hearing aids for over 15 years... Do i like them? Not as much asI should but they are life saving. I have been fitted over the years with the top brands. I am now in Starkey Livio’s BTE. They are performing very well and my provider is introducing the new features gradually to hell reduce stress and confusion. I now have Tinutis control,. fall alerts, health monitoring including steps and usage activities...
My belief is that the most important
ingredient is the provider/technician that you are working with. I have been working with Tri County Hearing in Leesburg Florida. They have 13 offices in and around Central Florida and the Villages. They are excellent to work with and they take the time you need to make sure you are hearing as best you can...

"Hearing Aids are tricky"

Hearing Aids are tricky. I have had mine now for roughly 6 years, and I still cannot wear it comfortably all the time. I also find that sometimes it is almost as difficult hearing with it as without. My doctor has passed away & I am finding it difficult to find someone who I can go to to see if it is correctly fitted & set for me. It also seems to shut off/on frequently even with a fresh battery. I spent a lot of money on this, but truly am not very happy with it.

Couldn’t be happier. Second set of Starkey hearing aids. Love the Bluetooth connection to my phone. Well worth the price.

"I had another well known brand…"

I had another well known brand previously and thought my hearing was as good as it could get until I bought Starkey Halo hearing aids. I also like the fact that they’re small but not flimsy and cheap looking. My next pair will also be Starkey.
