"Broken item delivered."
Managed to win a Phillips hue lamp online, got delivered by DPD on the 6th August.
Took it out the box to set up and I could hear rattling inside the lamp like a screw had come undone.
Anyhow still plugged it in to see if it works and it doesn't, this place is very hit and miss.
Some of my items work and some of my others don't.
Previous item that didn't work was a carpet cleaner, water would leak out all over the carpet and both items are from Marchington action house in Staffordshire so that one seems to par people off with goods that don't work at all.

"Horrible shamble and scammers "
They advertise the items without any issues, but when received, they come with problems or faults. Their responses are copied from a book, and no matter what you say, they always have answers from their NO RETURN policy book.
They also add so many fees that you nearly end up paying the price of a new item, but you get a faulty one without even knowing it. It should clearly state the problems of their items before bidding. They say that you should visit the auction before bidding, but who on earth will drive 200 miles to check a couple of items? They should have a return policy—a working one, not a fake one.
When I contacted them about the faulty item and told them I wanted to return it, they came up with excuses and other book-copied answers. Avoid this place like the plague.

"They sell counterfeit items "
They have sold me “luxury items” that turned out to be counterfeit on 2 occasions. Untrustworthy establishment.

"Worst auction house in Britain "
Bought a few items from John Pye now. NEVER AGAIN if I could give them zero stars I would.
Bought high value items that stated clearly damage free and showed clear photos of all items in perfect condition all delivered broken beyond repair. John Pye would not do a thing about it or help in anyway.
They are taking photos of lots covering up the defects and not allowing you to view items before purchase.

"Scammers!"
Scammers. They showed a picture with a Milwakee M12 FMT tool, and I won it with £66, and after taxes I paid £110. When it arrived, I opened the box and found just rubbish. I tried to get a refund, and they told me that they don't give any refunds. SCAMMERS!

"Renewed Faith in Customer Services "
After a few email issues whilst trying to arrange a refund for an undelivered item, I spoke to Jenna at John Pye Customer Services. A fairly confusing email trail was quickly and professionally resolved. Some companies seem to pay lip-service to the term ‘Customer Services’. However, on this occasion my faith has been renewed. Well done John Pye Customer Services (especially Jenna).

"Terrible company bought two items"
Terrible company bought two items, the first had clearly been well used, it was a water hearn, it was scaled terribly. The second was a beer dispenser and it didn't work. What a waste of money that I had to work to earn just for these to rob me off.

"Booked a pick up for a Monday morning"
Booked a pick up for a Monday morning. Rang customer services as I had managed to complete my job early on the Friday before. They said no problem come on down and the team will assist you . Brilliant. Leaves me time to start my next job on Monday a little earlier . Time is money and all that . Cheers team .

"Lack of responsibility "
I have bought 5 items from John Pye. I could only buy online as I could not view. The first was a cordless vacuum cleaner that arrived full of dust(supposed to be new) the second I bought 5 pairs of new ear buds 2 boxes came as old used ones. Third was an office chair which looked great on the picture and it was broken beyond repair. The last straw was a Karcher K4 power washer arrived doesn't work. I tried to complain and they brush you off with some pre typed jargon about how they don't take responsibility for it's condition. Surely they can go to the trouble of taking nice pictures but not test them. I will never buy anything from them again and you should be very careful if you by off line. You will lose money. Rubbish company
