"Liam, discovery 3"

Had Liam out this morning to my grandads Land Rover discovery 3 which had gone into limb mode and saying def blocked. Liam called 1 hour before he arrived, he was on time and the whole def clean was completed in 1 1/2 hours. Very happy with the whole process from placing the original phone call to the truck being done 👍

DOF Fixer actually came out on New years Eve to service my car. Daz was excellent! He went over everything with me in detail, showing me the readouts from the car. Overall great experience - thank you DAZ!

"I would not recommend this company to any work "

I would not recommend this company to do any work on my car or anyone elses fir that matter. They have come out more than once informed my father the work had been completed when in actual fact it was not and cost my elderly father alot of money. I never write reviews good or bad but felt under these curcumstances it was warrented.

I have come back to update this review following the conclusion of my communication with them.

My DPF light came on, there website promises they will investigate and guarantee there are no underlying faults prior to cleaning. They do this to guarantee the clean is a success. In reality they do not do this. They plug in a diagnostic, which couldn't even read my honda ECU properly. They do no actual investigation. The technician who came out to me couldn't find anything wrong with it and went a head with the clean, after he advised it would be best for me to just have the dpf removed.

The clean was not a success a few weeks later the light is back on and back in limp mode. Conveniently they only offer a 2 week warranty (knowing full well that it takes longer than that to clog a DPF). I contacted them and they didn't want to know. I since had someone who actually knows what they are doing come out and identify a faulty dpf pressure sensor - it was reporting but incorrectly.

As you can see dpf fixer responded to my review and asked me to contact them. Which I did again. They then told me they wouldn't help me as I had already left them a review.

They have also admitted that they failed to identify the fault, despite that being part of the service I paid for. I have requested a partial refund (the total - the booking fee) but no joy.

They also refuse to provide any details of the method of work/process they use to diagnose the fault.

The technician I had out afterwards even spotted very basic things like oil dilution count that should have been reset but weren't.

This company does not know what they are doing and charge double what actual experts charge

"Blown away by how good Igor was "

I was more than a little bit skepitcal about this service. My car drives 2500 miles a week and how could it have a blocked dpf. I must admit I am blown away by Igor. He turned up on time. Being a mobile service engineer I know that’s hard enough but was polite knowledgeable and a credit to the company.

The car now runs fine. First time not in limp mode for two months so I’m pretty happy.

I honestly can’t recommend Igor in primary and the company enough all communication has been prompt professional and it’s been a breath of fresh air dealing with all members of the team

I can honestly say anything else dpf related to my fleet they’ll be the first call

Daz was excellent, he came out over the Christmas holidays to fix the dpf problem with my car. He came the same day I rang up which was amazing service as I needed it resolving asap! He diagnosed the issue and explained everything that he was doing, he was very thorough and knew exactly what he was doing. He managed to resolve the dpf issue, clearing out the system and clearing the alarms. He gave great advice on how to prevent issues going forward. He was very helpful, friendly, understanding and very knowledgeable and made sure that all the issues were resolved for me, excellent service, would definitely use again.

Liam arrived early after a phone call advising of time , was polite helpfull,explained all he was going to do , after identifying that a blocked DPF was the problem and certainly it was as the amount of sooty material out of the exhaust confirmed this .Double checked all his readings on the car that all was well and left 2 and a half hours later. Although it was a lot of money ,it would have cost the same for my garage to remove it completely and clean and put back they couldn't confirm that they would get everything out of it , plus they couldn't do it for 2-3 weeks well after Xmas .
