"Be cautious of handing money over in advance"

The engineer himself was fantastic however I question the company itself..when I called in i was initially quoted £500 plus vat which i knew was expensive as I'd researched beforehand. This quote was quickly reduced by £170 when questioned and i was offered a next day appointment.

This is where the problems began as I sat in all day waiting with no communication from anyone (I could have gone to work)..I made multiple calls to the office and each time I was given a new ETA..The engineer eventually arrived at 7.30pm so it was pitch black and also raining.

I wanted to cancel the appointment but I was told I'd lose the booking fee so they had me over a barrel..it ruined my evening as well as my day.

I'd be cautious of handing money over in advance in future,especially with this company.

In fairness to the engineer he didn't leave until, the DPF was cleared and a test drive that I carried out proved full power was restored.

Im also conscious of a two week warranty as that doesn't offer much piece of mind to anyone however I'm also told that this information is incorrect and it's actually a 4 week warranty (not much better)

I wouldn't use the company again based on the above unless it was directly with the engineer himself.

After my first review it was not even 24hrs and I’m back in limp mode same issue not looking to good really, the advice I took I booked in for throttle body clean/change and did one long distance journey and it’s back on in limp mode (no change on opinion of the worker who done his job) just think before you spend 400+ on a service that won’t work people

I called my usual DPF cleaning company, which charges £120 for a service that typically does the job but doesn’t last long before needing another clean.

Fortunately, my regular go-to company was on holiday, which prompted me to look for alternatives. I discovered DPF Fixer Ltd., which, while more expensive, offered a next-day service that I needed urgently.

DPF Fixer Ltd. is very friendly, professional, and provides excellent advice. After the cleaning, my car feels brand new! I suppose you really do get what you pay for, and it was well worth the extra cost.

Once Daz was on site he checked over the vehicle identifying the faults informing me of the work he was going to carry out. During his time on site he was polite, courteous and helpful. All work was carried out neatly, on time in a very professional manner. Thank you.

Please be aware of this company, avoid like the plague, stay away. absolute scam . You will loose your money. The warranty is only valid for 14 days. This is my story I called them as I was desperate to fix my gpf, very professional on the phone and they came straight away to fix the problem. Initially everything was fine however after 5 weeks the engine management light came back on. The aftercare is shocking .Firstly There is a 48 hour wait for aftercare, not like the initial very quick response. They didn’t want to know if you are out of the 14 days warranty period. Think about it what kind of company offers only a 14 days warranty on their work? What does it tell you about the service they are providing. Absolute rip off and loss of hard earned 400 pounds .I will take further legal action against this company. I told them on the phone I will leave negative feedback but they didn’t really care as they have already taken my money.

Phoned DPF fixer after my regular garage could not look at my car for 2.weeks. 2Days later Logan turned up on time. Logan was very knowledgeable and explained everything with me. 1 1/2 hours later all fixed.
