I was at the Bathgate Store with my elderly parents on Friday 9th June 2023. They were looking for mattresses for their recliner beds.
We were met with Michael,who talked them through the pros & cons with the various mattresses and what he thought would possibly benefit my mum & dad (92 & 91yrs respectively)
Nothing was too much trouble for him and he answered all their questions without hesitation. End result was that they ordered the mattresses (and mattress protectors) and Michael told them to expect a delivery possibly Tues or Wed the following week.
We left Glenmore feeling very satisfied with the way things had gone,from Michael greeting us,giving loads of info,being so,so helpful and making sure we managed back outside okay.
Mum & dad received a phone call to say the delivery would be Monday and mattresses arrived within the specified time scale.
Old mattresses were taken away,new ones removed from polythene wrapping,placed on beds then checked to make sure all was good.
All in all we would DEFINITELY recommend Glenmore for anything at all to help with mobility issues etc.
From the bottom of their hearts my mum & dad send their special thanks to Michael for making them feel SO welcome & comfortable whilst in the store (and a thankyou from me,also)

"Rent of Mobility Scooter"

From start to finish Steve was professional and understanding to our mothers needs. The scooter they supplied was easy for our mother to operate for a first time user. She learnt to operate it in a short amount of time and was comfortable utilising all functionalities. Steve saw to all our needs with arrangements to charge the scooter at his shop but when we got the hotel to agree on overnight storing, Steve had the charger dropped off to us. He even gave us a taxi service number that would accommodate a scooter & this service was most helpful to us.
We highly recommend Glenmore Mobility service for anyone who needs a scooter to get around.

My mum had a fall and broke her shoulder, she needed a rise and recline chair urgently. Steve helped her choose the right chair for her needs and arranged to have it delivered and set up that afternoon. The chair is very high quality. Fantastic, friendly and helpful service.

Visiting Edinburgh for a few days and hit a pot hole with the wheelchair resulting in the tyre coming off the rim. Popped in and the guys could not have been more helpful. Sorted the chair in minutes. I honestly can't thank the guys enough

Great service! Michael spent lots of time getting a wheelchair for my mum that was comfortable, lightweight and suitable to fit into my car which has a small boot! "Very disorganised customer service"

I had cause to contact them about a purchase of a pair of shoes that had developed serious wear in the inside of the heel after only a month. Spoke to several different staff about it over the course of a few weeks. Kept getting different stories about what needed to happen and what was being done. In the end I contacted the manufacturer of the shoes myself and they are now dealing directly with me. I had been told to return the shoes to them so they could send them back to the manufacturer which I did but then they told me that they only needed photos of the wear, which I sent immediately. I asked that the shoes be returned to me and was told three different dates they had been posted. Phoned again today and the staff member was extremely rude to me on the phone accusing me of calling him a liar when I queried which date they had been posted. He also refused to supply me with tracking details which I have since been told is readily available. I contacted an alternative branch to ask to speak to a more senior person and have been given an email address to address my concerns to the owner. I am awaiting his response but can honestly say that I would never use this company again. They need to speak to each other and pass on messages or keep a note of what customers have already been told because it is not at all helpful to have several different stories about how an issue is being dealt with.

Further to their reply these shoes were fitted by a qualified orthotist and not by me. Also they kept the shoes at their shop and have since returned them to me. They did not send them back to the manufacturer. The manufacturer did not confirm to me how the wear had happened but did comment that they were a discontinued style from 4 years ago. No comment about their rudeness but still would never use them again. As anyone can see when looking at other reviews they are not beyond bending the truth! Thankfully the manufacturer have fully resolved this issue for me, this company washed their hands of the matter.

"Outstanding Customer Service"

I visited the Edinburgh store on behalf of my Mum who is currently immobile due to a fractured spine. I was in search of 2 electric beds and a riser/recliner chair. Both to make life easier, and more comfortable, for Mum & Dad. The knowledge and demos from Steve & Keith were fantastic. Left me in no doubt what was required. Upon delivery, and as Mum wasn't able to attend the store in person, they kindly left 4 different mattresses to try, along with 2 mattress protectors for hygiene. They also took away the old bed and chair and all packaging. This, in my opinion, is a company going the extra mile with passionate customer service. My parents are delighted with the products and Mum is finding it so much easier to sleep well and get up and about around the house. I'm sure these products will hasten her recovery. "Our experience with Glenmore"

I called Glenmore to arrange an appointment for my wife and I and advised them what items she was looking for. On visiting the Edinburgh store we were duly met with one of their team who was in my view very attentive and understanding to my wife's requirements for a riser recliner chair and subsequently a rollator. Unfortunately after two weeks my wife found the chair to be uncomfortable around her hip area although she really liked the chair. I contacted the shop and were advised to come into the store and pick another chair. We managed to get the same chair a couple of inches wider which was great and she loves it. All the way through our dealings with the Glenmore Mobility team I cant thank them enough for the kindness and empathy Michael and his team showed to my wife it was very much appreciated. Desperate to quickly source a quality recliner chair for my beloved dad, I phoned Glenmore Mobility in Bathgate on Monday. A lovely, lady called Anne patiently listened to what I felt I needed for dad and after taking a few key details about dad's height and weight she explained that she would do her best to find a comfortable and appropriate chair to meet his needs. Thinking I would have to wait several weeks I was utterly delighted when she said that she would arrange for three possible models of chair to arrive two days later. I spoke with her again yesterday afternoon and she confirmed that she had, indeed, found three chairs which she believed would match my requirements. This afternoon, exactly at the time Anne had intimated I received a call from their salesman Michael to say that they were on their way.
Michael and James who arrived were without question, true gentlemen. They treated my parents with the utmost respect and consideration. Michael clearly and patiently explained the workings of the chair to us several times and he and James helped us rearrange the room. Both these gentlemen were exemplary: they were warm and compassionate in their dealings with my parents but never patronising nor condescending. When they left I was overwhelmed with gratitude when I saw how perfect the chair was for dad and how very comfortable he felt at long last. I feel compelled to write this review to express my heartfelt thanks to Anne, Michael and James for the magnificent service they provided. In my opinion, Glenmore Mobility is a superb Scottish company with a caring and professional team of workers. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending them to others .
