"What an absolute waste of time this was…"
What an absolute waste of time this was !!
The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because I was refunded.
I ordered 2 cardigans and a comb for woolen clothes. I only received one cardigan and a comb.
I emailed and sent photos. I was refunded for the cardigan - they didn’t have it in stock (but failed to inform me in the first place).
Then the other cardigan shrunk considerably, after being washed BY HAND in cold water!! Also, the threads started coming loose! The website, mind you, says it’s machine washable!
After writing to them again, they asked for it to be shipped back to them - with a full description of the washing process included in the package - so they can check it. I was then refunded again for the “faulty product “.
I’m now waiting for the shipping costs to be refunded as promised. And I have a wool comb as lonely memento for this fiasco!
I do not NOT recommend this company.

"Poor quality"
Bought 2 merino wool and cashmere sweaters. They fit perfectly but are very thin in quality and after only one wear the rib of the sweaters becomes very baggy.

"Good Quality Aran sweater…"
I got a pure wool Aran sweater (colour mahogany) for Christmas. I am very cold blooded and it kept me cosy and warm in sub zero temperatures. I liked it so much I ordered another one in January. A different colour - Grey smoke. Both are well made. I particularly liked the slightly longer sleeve length. My delivery instructions to a safe place were also followed.

"Will not order again"
I have ordered from this company several times but will not do so again unless they change delivery company. A previous parcel was left out in the rain, this time its been left in someone else's shed! I cannot speak to a real person at Evri and do not know when they will get back to me and the woolovers customer service advisor was based in south africa. it was not a good experience.

"Excellent service"
My order was dispatched immediately and, although I had to return the item, the refund was processed immediately. Excellent service

"Using Evri is a dusaster"
Woolovers are ok but using Evri for delivery is just not professional customer service. My parcel was not left in a safe place, the flimsy brown paper packaging was ripped, and given that the jumpers inside were no wrapped properly thenselves, that means they were open to weather on the way from the van, and vulnerable to pests inside.
And have you tried getting help from Evri?! I did not pay them, I paid Woolovers to get my shopping delivered safely

"Embroidery coming apart"
Ordered a cardigan with embroidery. Shipping and delivery were very fast, and the cardigan fits well, but the embroidery on the cardigan is very poor. I have worn it once and there are so many loose threads. I fear that eventually all of the embroidery will fall off as it doesn't seem to have been secured at all. Glad I didn't pay full price as I'd be very annoyed. Probably won't shop from woolovers again. Price is too high for quality received.

"Awful returns policy, poor customer service "
My Mum gave my husband a Woolover jumper for Christmas and it was a bit small, so on 16 January - after suffering from terrible winter flu for the best part of New Year/early January - I got in touch to exchange it for a larger size.
It being only 3 weeks since Christmas, I assumed this would be no problem and indeed I did all of my Christmas returns and exchanges that day. This included items purchased at different points in December from various retailers: Uniqlo, John Lewis, Boden & ProCook. All items were returned successfully, as every retailer I've ever come across has an extended returns period around Christmas, or can be flexible if you are slightly in excess of a standard 30 day returns period.
Upon looking at the website I discovered that Woolovers' returns period is 28 days, including for exchanges, so once I had checked when my Mum had ordered the item (12 December), and seeing that we were a few days over by the time the winter flu that had brought us all down in January was over and I had a few hours away from the usual juggle of job and taking care of small children to do returns, I called Woolovers to see if the item could still be exchanged. The lady on the phone suggested I write to Customer Services which I duly did, and was told in no uncertain terms that there would be no exceptions - a refrain repeated again when I responded to double check, given how unreasonable this seemed.
I find it extraordinary to have such a strict policy that is only going to lose you customers. This was not even a request for a return - we weren't asking for any money back - just an exchange so the jumper can actually be used and enjoyed.
It's a shame, I'm in the market for a new jumper myself but will certainly never consider Woolovers given the very poor experience we've had.

"Does not last long."
I purchased a 100% Lambswool Men's Classic Crew Neck Sweater in Dec. of 2024, and wore it almost daily since then. By 1/19/25 the left elbow was worn through. I've purchased this product from WO before, and the elbows always wear out (and are patched by my long-suffering spouse) but not for 9 months or so. This is a new record for brevity of product integrity. I'm switching to cotton and a different vendor.
