I purchased a Racing 4000T Lawnmower and was delighted to unpack it and see the quality of its manufacture. It arrived the day after ordering at 8.00 in the morning, which is unbelievable service. Could not wait to get mowing and the cut was much better that I have been used to in the past. It is a really solid piece of machinery and the engine has a lovely sound as it winds down. The only problem was getting it started. The staff at Mowdirect are very knowledgeable and helpful and I initially tried some fresh petrol, but the problem still persisted. I was cleaning the plug before using it each time. The gap in the sparking plug was fractionally larger that that quoted in the handbook, but adjusting this made no difference. In desperation I contacted Mowdirect again. In the handbook, it recommends that in requires no more than 2 presses of the primer button for our type of climate, but they suggested that I pressed it 7 (seven) times ! I was concerned that this might flood the engine, but it has worked a dream from then on and it really is fantastic mower. A good choice of supplier and machine. Thanks.

"A mid range petrol shredder"

The mid-range petrol shredder was bought online but was supplied by the garden machinery company Chipperfield GM. The machine had been assembled, prepped with oil and petrol and was ready to go. Excellent. Great service from Chipperfield Garden Machinery. 0nce, we lived in Hertfordshire, near Chipperfield and had always bought our lawn mowers from them. Now we live in Poole. What a coincidence.
