"Basingstoke Branch Great Service"

The staff at the Basingstoke branch where so helpful. They fixed my Ipad Air broken screen in a day! Great service and very reasonable prices. I would certainly recommend. Mrs S Parker.

"Never again. Be warned."

I took my laptop to the Woking shop to have a battery replacement. Left it with them. It was supposed to be sent off to a workshop in London as this couldn't be done on the premises.

On getting home, I was surprised to find that my laptop was logged into and being used in Woking (I get alerts when this happens), but thought no more of it. However, over the weekend it began to be used extensively, both during the day and late into the night and for several days after. Then it was subsequently taken out of the shop, to an address in Horsell, where it continued to be used till very late and into the small hours of the morning, and reappeared at the shop location the next day. This happened on at least 17 occasions while the laptop was in their possession, and I have screenshots of the dates and times and locations of these accesses. I took back my laptop from the shop without repair as a matter of urgency.

As a result of this I had to change all the passwords in my bank accounts, credit cards, Paypal account, eBay account, email accounts, and other online services. Never again.

"Extremely disappointed"

I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality of repair I have received. A week ago last Friday I received my honour 20 back from having the screen replaced at the camberley store. A day or two later a crack appeared mysteriously in the top right hand corner of the screen. A few days later, a new and totally independent crack appeared on the top left corner, extending from the left corner edge to the middle of the top of the screen, not to the edge here though, and not joined up with the first crack.
I had not had any mishaps with the phone, not dropped, nor crushed. Just carried around exactly the same way I have done since new. To note, the screen had to be replaced due to an incident with some white spirit, otherwise the screen had been undamaged since I purchased it new at l and I carried around the same as I had always done. I had the phone case on as well for protection.
For these two cracks to appear, independently from one another are a total mystery, and all I can put it down to is a fault with the screen or a fault with the installation. The screen does indeed seem to be more raised than it used to be. In addition, the screen appears in general to be dimmer than it was.
However, they have refused to cover it under their warranty, which was one of the reasons I chose them. I will not use them again and will never recommend them to anyone.

"Basingstoke…Great Service"

Took my "dead" mobile to Basingstoke branch, where the problem was identified, repaired and returned in double quick time and at a very, very fair price. This is the 2nd time I have had cause to use them, the 1st was just as impressive, no fluke. Well Done.

"FAUX SCREEN PUT ON"

I paid £90.00 to get my screen replaced on my Samsung phone; end of the month the screen was blank; leaf-shape blue line running down my screen which then went black.
I took my phone back to the Camberley shop with my receipt to be told to wait 2 hours; when I go back they tell me they can't fix my phone as this was my fault it being in my handbag - something pressed against it! They refused to do anything apart from offer a new screen at 90 quid.

I ended up going through Samsung direct; costing me another £100.00.
The engineer told me they had put a faux screen on which is why you can see the glue at the edges and that they didn't fix the screen; just made it look like they had!

AVOID - GO DIRECTLY THROUGH THE PHONE MANUFACTURE!

I would like my £90.00 back please!
