"Excellent new double glazed sashes for a Victorian house"

New double glazed sashes fitted about a month ago in a Victorian terrace house. The company advised that only the sashes needed replacing as the original casements were in good order. They look very smart and are identical to the original 120 year old sashes (which is good as it's a Conservation area). They open/close very smoothly and have good quality fittings. Already I am aware of the increased warmth in the house and the increased sound insulation.
Staff attending on site - surveyor and fitter- were excellent showing a high level of detail in their work; were very tidy and personable.
So from the above, the company and product is fully recommended.
Delivery and fitting were delayed considerably due to Covid and supplies issues, and I have deducted a star because of a lack of communication from the company with respect to keeping me up to date with progress. I had to take it upon myself to find out that delivery was knocked back a couple of times rather than the company taking it upon themselves to keep me up to date, which led to frustration and anxiety. . . . but the new sashes are really good.

We were pleased with the response to our initial enquiry and the following detailed survey. Having had the e.mail about the delay due to covid, which we accepted, felt the communication could then have been better. During the 3month delay there was no other contact, which was a bit worrying, until we were in touch.
Work carried out by Dave and Simon was excellent they could not have been more tidy and efficient. The windows replaced the original Victorian ones,to which we had added secondary glazing. They are beautifully finished and a great compliment to the house ,making it even quieter.

Box Sash replaced six windows for us in two days. They worked quickly and efficiently and tidied up brilliantly. The windows are great quality and matched the original window style in keeping with the character of the house. Box Sash replaced several windows for us about 6 years ago and did a great job which is why we chose them again.

This company supplied eight new sliding sash windows (including the frames) into the front bay of our victorian property, in a conservation area in Kensington. They provided valuable support throughout the planning permission process, supplying all of the required drawings and answering numerous questions from the Planner. The windows are beautiful and have transformed our Property. The Installers were extremely courteous and tidy and true craftsmen of their trade, it was a pleasure to watch how much pride they take in their work.
Our Property was left spotless at the end of each day.
Every point of contact I had with this firm was positive and efficient, an absolute pleasure to deal with. The price of our windows was extremely competitive and comparable with other quotes we received. This firm has been established for years with our installers informing us that they have worked there for over 20 years. Truly outstanding service from start to finish.

"Original Box Sash Windows"

Currently renovating a large house in East London and have just had Box Sash double glaze and restore all the windows. The service has been excellent from start to finish and we are so pleased with the final result.

Due to Covid, there was a minor delay with the start date, but all the tradespeople and companies we have been working with on this project have been hit hard. Tania and Jane in the office kept us continually informed and the delay wasn’t anywhere near as long as we expected it would be, considering the circumstances.

Our fitter was a really skilled craftsman and left the rooms spotlessly clean and tidy every evening.

It’s obvious that all at Box Sash take great pride in what they do. We would not hesitate to use their services again.

"Very poor experience"

Very poor experience, misinformation at sales stage and then delay upon delay - we are currently at double the original estimated lead time and counting. If I could go back I would not have ordered with this company.
