We couldnt be happier with the service from John Charles Caravans. James met us on our 1st visit and put our minds at rest with his relaxed way of dealing with people. We did eventually come back on a separate visit, test drive and eventually purchase a motorhome which we absolutely love. The piece of mind James gave us left us in. I doubt if we had any issues to just call him.

Before we drove our new Motorhome away we had a full 2 hour walk through of everything we would need to know and that has proved very useful whilst away.

A great place to do but a used Motorhome with no pressure but lots of knowledge from the team.

We bought a 2001 Abbey caravan from John Charles Caravans a few months ago and have since had two trips away. We are very pleased with our purchase and would definitely recommend this company if you're thinking of buying a caravan. The caravan was ready for collection on time, everything they said they would do was done and they'd even put two new tires on it. They where very helpful and since then My sister has also bought a caravan, from their sister company down the road and is also very happy with theirs. If your thinking of buying a caravan, then this company gets a big thumbs up from me.

As a very experienced buyer of vehicles but as a first motorhome buyer the purchase was a major one for us of a 6 year old 21,000 miles Bailey 760SE approach and not the simplest

The vehicle had been on a private plate from previous owner and the V5 took a while to come back from DVLA and was also on LLoyds dealer stocking finance which John Charles cleared in full to give a full and clear HPI before the balance was paid.

Minor repair to the tow bar and a bumper scuff were completed to a good standard and an engine service and a new 12 month , no advisories MOT was all pre done.

The handover was very comprehensive and very thorough , a new TV was fitted and tuned and proved to be working once set to pick up the right satellites before we drove off.

Price was good , but for us it was not all about price , I found the exact same vehicle that after a negotiation was £1500 cheaper but with 7000 more miles on it and a patchy and advisory littered MOT history.

That purchase would have been via motorhome broker , who would not take a credit card deposit which I wanted to do to have Section 75 protection.

John Charles negotiated a fair price £1250 off their asking price but still gave us a 1 year warranty.

All in all great service , we look forward to using the vehicle.
