Diane was fantastic, friendly, and patient. She took the extra time to stop and explain how everything works (from gas meters to council tax to operating the appliances) to us Americans who aren't used to your delightfully peculiar ways.

The contractor had carried out the work to a very high standard.

"Delays "

Hello, I would like submitting a feedback.
I'm not very satisfied: the agency have no communication or very poor one with my landlord, this cause so many delays and misunderstanding. It took months to have permission to access in the loft to shut down water and later with the plumber we find the valve is not in the loft but in my bathroom below a shelve. So the question is :" or the landlord doesn't know his house, that's it's ridiculous or there is a lack of communication between agency and him. The work finally was sorted out, because plumber was very nice.

"Terrible Experience!"

OFFERING 24 MONTHS OF BANK STATEMENTS NOT ENOUGH TO PROVE INCOME THEY SAY. They use an agency that checks ONLY THREE MONTHS!

In response to D.J.Alexander's complaint about me: This IS a negative review, and it IS valid on this website! I have modified it to balm any charring you feel was had from the previous review grammar.

This is the reason I am leaving Scotland (the Brave). The D.J.Alexander process made no sense, it put me off wanting to rent in the location at all.

EDIT (1): D.J.Alexander have terminated the offer from the landlord and property without answering why in any detail. !!! The reason I found out months later was no connectivity to credit reports on the electoral roll, an issue that can be fixed in less that TEN MINUTES!!! A Cumbria Letting Agency informed me after the same issue, so they at least informed me of the results from my own personal data which D.J.Alexander did not either do or merely understand, which they should. (By the way: Use Experian to update your addresses to connect past Electoral Identity Validation - I couldn't in Aberdeen as my Passport was out of date and the Council rejected the Electoral Update - (My previous landlord pair were horrible to me so I just left it out of the rental history due to their wish to be defamatory - I was advised it was a legal thing to do).

D.J.Alexander Aberdeen, I feel, are a property management company of nightmares! Electoral Roll Connectivity, simple really, an easy thing to fix. They seemed to not know it was this simple thing, and nor did their credit reference agency, Oh GOODLORD LTD, who were slightly mocking about my income after I said the process should have shown Valid Income. It was just the Electoral Roll! How does a credit reference agency not think of this!?

A D.J.Alexander Aberdeen staff member said I did not pass vetting with Oh GOODLORD LTD despite Oh GOODLORD LTD commenting it would be passed within 24 hours. I have the emails. I also had 8x the information they would check to prove income.

The tone of the last D.J.Alexander staff member to have contact with me was just nasty. I was incredibly depressed by this experience and decided to leave Scotland. I wanted to be far away from this event.

Shocking business. I filed a complaint with the authorities.

I ended up in France. It's nice. I was trying to do something positive for Aberdeen but D.J.ALEXANDER crushed that wish.

DJ Alexander has been great during our house search, and all of the agents I've dealt with across multiple viewings have been kind and helpful and knowledgable. The only minus point for me is that some viewings got shuffled around last minute and rescheduled without any input from my side.
Alexandra Holzbarova was the agent for the place went with and she helped us wonderfully by answering questions quickly and giving prompt replies to emails as well, a great agent to have!
