Brilliant experience from start to finish!

Excellent service, so easy to order from and they kindly removed my old mattress down three flights of stairs. Would highly recommend!

My new mattress is super comfortable and I will be reordering again in the near future.

"Disgusting…"

My husband placed an order for a riser recliner chair on 3/9/24. He is still waiting 4 months later. He has advanced Parkinson's, and his current chair is falling apart. The Mobility Furniture Company have taken £2,866 which is half the total cost. On contacting the company, he was told that the chair may be available some time in February. He was also told that he could contact the administrator, and may or may not get some of his money back. The person he spoke to was unsympathetic and unhelpful.

"Don't even think about ordering from this company"

We placed an order (number 2200453) on the 15th October with an estimated delivery time of 4 to 5 weeks which would have worked out well with my wife's discharge from hospital. We have been waiting for 9 weeks so far and from talking to the company on the phone (after 20 minutes queueing) we have been told that they have no idea when the chair will be delivered other than "in the New Year". This is causing my wife serious problems.

Don't even think about ordering from this company.

"***AVOID THIS COMPANY***"

PLEASE AVOID this company. They have a backlog of contracts which they are struggling to honour and they are still taking on new business and promising delivery times of 6-8 weeks which they are very unlikely to fulfill.
My experience so far is the communication is very poor, unless of course they are asking for money, then are very efficient. It seems that no one really knows what is going on. Keep getting the same excuse that it is due to the takeover and recent changes. They have now been taken over by Loki Enterprises. They are quick to take your money but slow to deliver.
If you have already recently made a purchase and are paying in instalments, I would try and hold off paying any more than you already have until you have delivery of the item - don't even believe them when they give you a delivery date - and definitely don't make the final payment until delivery has been made. My parents were told 6-8 weeks for delivery (on 7 October), it is now coming up to 9 weeks with no sign of the chair and they don't seem to have an idea how much longer it is going to be.

I will update this review once this saga is over.

So, I have sent my order number and details to prove I am a genuine customer and reviewer but have not been contacted.

BUT, further experience of how bad this company is, we were offered a loan chair which we were told was being delivered Friday (13th Dec) turned up Monday (10th Dec) unannounced. My father who has very limited mobility and should not be getting up and walking anywhere unsupervised had to get up to answer the door. This could have resulted in him having a fall, which would be a disaster as he is waiting for a serious operation. There had been no communication to say the loan chair was arriving early, nor has there been any update as to when the purchased chair is going to be ready. Apparently, a simple phone call to the workshop is beyond their capabilities. The loan chair is creaky and dirty and they had the cheek to offer us the opportunity to keep it rather than waiting for our purchased chair. Why would we order and pay a lot of money for a bespoke chair and then settle for one that was made for someone else and has clearly been well used.
I am also going to add here, to be aware that some of the 5 star reviews on here are from members of the company.
After reporting the company to Trading Standards about their fake reviews, the three from the Managing Director have now been taken down. There are a couple others which are suspicious as they are the same name as the Sales Director at Loki/Mobility Furniture and if you see his reviews, one is 5 star for Loki/Mobility but the other is a damning review of another furniture company, which that company cannot verify any order from him so suspect it is the same person.
Anyway, here we are in December and are still waiting for our chair. We have now been told it will be 3rd week of January. Will see if that is honoured. When I first queried the delivery date, 7 weeks after order, I told the Company that if the chair had not been started to be made, we would like a refund. I was told the chair was in process of being made but that is not true as we are now at week 13, with another two weeks at least to wait which will be nearly double the latest delivery timeframe given of 8 weeks - obviously this chair had not even been started when I first contacted the company. It is just lie after lie. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't risk giving your money to this company. Maybe some people get a good service, but is it worth taking the chance?

Now (24 Jan), almost 16 weeks from date of order, still no sign of the chair and getting no response from anyone at the company.

Finally got a response, co-incidentally after complaining to the Furniture Ombudsman to say delivery w/c 10 February (18 weeks after order, and 10 weeks after latest promised delivery date). When the chair did arrive, luckily my mother sat on it first, as it flew backwards, as the chair had wheels (and not glides) as per the order. If that had been my father, I dread to think the damage which could have been caused to him. The Company is a disgrace. They cannot get anything right. Their answer was to send castor cups - how are my 80 year old parents meant to lift the chair to put them on? A technician called to replace the wheels the following week but that caused the chair to be really wobbly and unstable and therefore not fit for purpose. It is just one thing after another. The chair is still a little wobbly and doesn't look or feel like a luxury, quality item, certainly not worth the money. I don't expect it will last too long.
For those of you who are not getting responses, you have to keep on them! and/or report them to Trading Standards. They have to be held accountable.

"My mother ordered a bed for my disabled…"

My mother ordered a bed for my disabled sister on 9/10/24., now paid in full and no delivery date we were initially given a date of 18/11/24 but was cancelled on the day.
Cost £4500.00.
Looks like the company were ok until September this year now rumour mill says gone bust
I would avoid this company.

"WARNING: COMPANY HAS ENTERED ADMINISTRATION"

AVOID THIS BUSINESS

INCORRECT COMPANY INFORMATION: GM GEECO has gone into administration and the new company behind this business is LOKI ENTERPRISES, which have both provided the same details on the public Companies House records - so are effectively the same person.

This business sells grossly overpriced furniture that based on other reviews and in our experience may not even exist.

The company takes a very large deposit - 50% which is unheard of - after which it delays the order, effectively forcing the customer to cancel. They will likely be inelligible for a refund because of the contract terms, so 'cut their losses'. The company will likely go into administration within a year or two, as it has done over the past decade or so, in order to escape obligations to its customers.

I believe this is a completely immoral operation that has absolutely no regard for the pain, damage, stress and hurt caused to people in their often most vulnerable and twilight years.

"Broken chairs and broken promises "

Spent £8k on 2 rise, recline and swivel arm chairs. Sales rep was great came out around 3 times to double check my grandparents were happy with the order. Expected delivery was end of September.
We had very little update from the company in this time. A week before delivery we had to make contact to check when delivery was. Only to find out the company has gone bankrupt and they aren’t sure on delivery. But they promised to keep us updated weekly. Well they failed at that as well we had to phone every week to keep on top of the order. Eventually we got angry and threatened legal action… magically “your chairs will be delivered next week sir” great you would think… delivery was 13th of November! Only a month and a half late! But finally we had the chairs. Well ok the 19th my grandmothers chair broke! In the laying down position… so chair now can’t be used as she cannot get in and out of it! We called this awful company to be told we would have to wait 3 weeks for them to come out and try to fix it?
We were told it’s our fault for living so far away from them? Why am earth sell it to people far away if you don’t want to keep up the customer care after taking £8k?
Then the 20th hits and my grandads chair has now broken also! Luckily this is in a sitting position so chair is usable but will not raise him up (he is disabled)
So we called again and the 3 week wait turned into 1 week….
With no guarantee they will fix them… sounds like they will take them away and bring back after the new year!

I couldn’t recommend staying further away from this company! £8k and naff all to show for it!
Girls on the phone lines are so rude blaming us for the distance we are away… yet happy to send a sales rep out on 3 occasions to take our money!

"Unhelpful and unprofessional customer service "

Enquired about a reclining chair for my terminally ILL Brother, the chair would of took longer to make than the time my brother had left with us. I asked to be taken off the mailing list.

2 years nearly I'm still receiving mail.

I phoned up annoyed as its nearly his 2 anniversary and more mail arrived. Lady on the phone wasn't interested or apologetic very unprofessional customer service advisor. Needs training up to date training for being professional and how to deal with an upset and frustrated member of the people who never bought anything but being hounded by calls and mail.

Just telling me it's a 3rd party company that sends it out.
