Sounds like the same as charter savings. They will take over a week so send the code through the post just so you can withdraw cash. Then if you request a withdrawal after 3pm on. Friday I bet it won’t arrive till Monday afternoon. The rate for that isn’t worth it and it’s time these banks worked for us not for themselves

"What a joke setup"

What a joke setup. Offered a fair rate Easy Access flexible ISA which is what I wanted so opened one and transferred in money. Tried to move money out but no option to do so! No online chat so emailed and phoned but the whole company is on holiday for four days with no support at all! Logged in later and was met with a box asking me to authenticate my linked account with a code from the LETTER! It won't even be sent out until sometime next week. I thought the quill days had gone but this lot have no idea how to run a business so I don't think I will wait until I have another problem to not get support. I also had a query about my Atom account today which was efficiently answered by online chat within ten minutes, what a difference!

Reasonable interest rates, easy to follow website, seamless account setup and making a deposit.

However, the sting in the tail is that deposits made after 1400 on a bank day are not credited until the next day so interest on that deposit is effectively lost for at least one day. If you are making a sizeable deposit then make sure you transact well before 1400.
