"Worse company ever!!!!!"

Worse company ever!!!We rented a car through Cartraweler for 2 weeks. The car we received had lots of scratches so we took as many photos as we could and a video! We refused to pay £500 insurance for those 2 weeks as the price was just too much( I said to the guy that is a ridiculous amount of money and he replied that: if everyone will block a deposit like you, the company will go bankrupt 😂😂) so we blocked a deposit of £2500. When we returned the car, the girl was looking for anything, just to make sure that our deposit stays blocked and we are being charged….. she showed us some scratches and we proved her that they were there…. She found 2 scratches that were so hard to notice ( no wonder I didn’t see them to take photos) and she said they will charge us £400 per scratch!!! I went mad and I said to her that those unnoticeable scratches must have been there as the ones I showed her photos of but she said: you have no photos so you can’t prove…. When I mentioned to her what her colleague told us about the insurance she said not to worry that they make good money from blocked deposits as well!!! What a ripoff company is that?? STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!

Rental was fast and vehicle as expected. I didn’t have any issue or anything to complain about, smooth and clear

"Taking advantage of me travelling with two small children"

I arrived late at night and my kids were very tired. I rented a car for 120,- for 7 days. I agreed to a maximum risk of 2400,-. When I wanted to make the deposit, they did not accept debit card or cash. This is how they forced me to agree to an insurance of 220,- for 7 days. This is almost two times the amount on top of the initial amount of 120,-. I did not have a choice but to accept because my kids really had to go to bed and we still had to drive 2 hours. Very bad people at Klass Wagen.

"Horrible experience"

Horrible experience. Booked through a third party ( Autoeurope) which I've used several time in the past without issue. Couldn't get through to contact them for around 15 min upon arrival to Lisbon airport. Finally got through and was taken to the office (transfer was the only good thing of the whole journey).
Had two kids under 7 with me but was given a standard waiting number, even though by Portuguese law I should've been given priority. After a 20 min wait and seeing other frustrated people leave, when I got myself a priority ticket, was questioned as to why I got one and when I say I had 2 under 7s with me was told 'let me check if there is anyone waiting here for longer than 40 min' and the employee proceeds to call someone that arrived in the same shuttle as me. They were great and allowed me to go first and the fun began. Was told I would have to pay for a cleaning fee, regardless of if the car was cleaned or not, was told the deposit amount would be debited from my account, was told I would have to pay a €4000 deposit twice... So I decided to take the hint that they did not want to rent the car to me and cancelled on the spot and leave a formal complaint. Definitely not using again
