The installation was simple and done in one day, a little more problematic the communication with the scaffolding company.
The system works very well, with the panels and the battery I export more than what I use in a whole year and if managed the storage well it's rare I have to import any electricity.

The surveyer came punctually as appointed and arranged a quick installation in 3 weeks.

The scaffolders came to build the scaffolding a bit early, 1 week before the installation day. I was mot informed of their arrival beforehand. Luckily I was at home on the day.

The installation started on the appointed day, but cannot be completed on the same day as said by the surveyor. The installer came after 2 weeks to install the remaining panels, but unable to fix the snagging issues on the electrical parts identified. This snagging issues and others were resolved after 3 weeks.

Then it has been discovered that the models of the panel, inverter and EV Charger are not consistent with those listed in the contract, and your complaint manager is handling the matter. It is atill unresolved at the nean time.

It all went relatively smoothly, the batteries are definitely making a difference to my electricity costs.
Make sure you order enough batteries.

"The installation of the PV panels and later snags"

The installation of the PV panels, inverter and storage battery went exceedingly well. Unfortunately there were some later snags. During the initial survey, we should have been asked who our WiFi supplier was. Since it was Vodafone, this required a further visit with the necessary boost equipment in order to be set up with the app. Then it was realised that our battery was not being charged and it had gone down to 0%. Another visit was required with new batteries then it was found that the original batteries were fine but the inverter was faulty. Finally, on Sunday 9th February, an engineer replaced the inverter, so after more than two and a half months, everything was working well.

Quick tidy installation, after about 24 months we had a problem with the battery, this was quickly resolved with a replacement battery original installation date was 5 September 2022

Follow up paperwork took a little longer than ideal but it was early days and all was sorted out in time for me to benefit from the sunshine and not only save on my electricity bill but start making money by selling back to the grid.
