Excellent installation & service, although I wasn't present my father confirms my comments.
One thing & its small the original 20yr old boiler power cable was not replaced. So I have a nice new boiler with old cable. As long as it works no problem.

new boiler installed last year , kept losing pressure, many engineers visits later ( half of them couldnt be bothered) , found to be cracked inside so replaced, a year later and still losing pressure , they ant to charge me now for a visit, ripoff company

Amit from Boiler Plan UK saved the day for my boiler replacement. Amit attended my installation appointment not knowing the difficult background I had experienced with EON and their Affordable Warmth scheme. His expertise and guidance were second to none and he was able to diffuse what had been a very stressful situation for me. His attention to detail and quality of work were of a very high standard. Amit was also very respectful and empathetic to the challenges I had faced.
I first contacted EON in early August 2021 to apply for a boiler replacement via the Affordable Warmth scheme. At the end of September 2021 following an on-site survey EON confirmed I was eligible and the boiler installation would be completed 2 weeks after payment.
To my dismay and after numerous phone calls once the 2 week period had passed I was finally provided an installation appointment for early November 2021, which was then cancelled. No alternative installation date was provided by EON, instead at the end of November my case was passed on to Boiler Plan UK.
My experience with Boiler Plan UK was completely different. On my first call to them, they were able to arrange an installation within 3 weeks and sent a great, experienced engineer Amit. Finally my new boiler was installed in December 2021, 19 weeks after applying to EON!

"No help from a company who just installed our boiler in January."
Really disappointed with this company over the past two days. Only had our boiler installed in January. Called them multiple times yesterday to be told I had an appointment with an engineer booked at 15:00. Never got a call and when I called them I kept getting false promises saying I was next in line and would be getting a call soon. Eventually was put onto an engineer (after my 4th call to them) to be told they would get in touch with baxi for us and call us first thing in the morning. Next morning we received no call and when we called BoilerPlan back they had no record of an engineer having a call with us and that our only option is to call Baxi ourselves or pay £80 for them to come out and fix it even though we were told initially because it’s under warranty they would come out and fix it for us. 2 days wasted without any heat or water and just chasing our tail with BoilerPlan instead of getting a straight answer from them. Having to take time off work to source an engineer ourselves as I can’t stand the idea of calling them back and being messed around.

These five stars are exclusively for an engineer called Aaron.
After two weeks without heat or hot water and an installation (by Boiler Plan) that had left a new but dead boiler on our kitchen wall and the electrics in our kitchen hanging out of the wall (with a gas hob nearby), Aaron came along (even though he had significant family challenges to deal with) and sorted everything out with great skill, knowledge, and good humour.
The guy is a legend, and Boiler Plan do not deserve him.

When Sarah was in customer services, everything went like clockwork. Sadly that's no longer the case and I've tried email, web messaging and calling (cut off twice then told they're not taking calls!) but still can't get through. Something's going on and it's not good.

Very disappointing and unacceptable level of service from Boiler Plan. Avoid at all cost is my advice. They book an appointment to complete work but do not turn up and don't even tell you they won't be coming. Even worse customer service chancers like Shane and Dean will tell you any number of untruths that an engineer is on their way which never proves to be the case.
