I applaud Bristol energy's support of community initiatives and the move toward green energy supplies, but the recent increase in my Direct Debit from £75 per month to £104 per month is unacceptable, particularly when I have been mostly in credit.I shall look elsewhere.

I’m happy with the service I have received from Bristol Energy. It has been possible to renegotiate monthly contribution payments to my advantage.
The only disappointment I have is that the smart meter which was provided and fitted by engineers has never worked properly and will not link up to the meter reading service in spite of requesting this be rectified many times. If this matter is resolved I will be completely satisfied.

Each time we rang were passed to a call handler, who promised we would be contacted, but still waiting, although we have renewed, not a great way to deal with customers, also it took for ever to get the readings entered as each person said they would pass them on. Do not appreciate being sent e-mails saying readings needed when these have already been entered.

I have been with this company for several years and I have been very happy with the service and prices. My only complaint is that I have to ring the customer service up to check if I am on the cheapest tariff, I would like them to notify me of any cheaper options and automatic change for me
